hypothetically do you actually need the j spring inside the hammer? I get that the j spring keeps the hammer pin from sliding out of the gun, but if you used anti walk pins like pic rel without the groove, and you pulled the j spring out of the hammer to avoid any issues with friction, would there actually be a problem? Surely the hammer doesn't have enough play to worry about sliding from side to side along at pin- at least not with enough length to cause the hammer to not hit the firing pin?

If I do an eForm 4 for an item that I bought and had registered individually in order to transfer it onto a personal trust, would the eForm system throw an error for that item if the original eForm 4 had not been approved yet?I bought and certified a Velos on the 9th and I haven't received an approved email yet however last week I was able to create an eForm 4 with the original control number and serial for the silencer without issue. I haven't submitted that second eForm yet because I haven't heard back from the ATF or my FFL yet.Should I call my FFL tomorrow to see if its been approved? I feel like the eForm system is good enough to be able to cross reference control numbers and throw an error if a control number and its associated eForm haven't been approved yet.
