Posting this since it seems like a good solution not many are aware of. I want a bolt action in 7.62x39 with 10 round mags. Ruger Ranch is the cheapest and most common offering, but Mini 30 mags are pinned to five. Except a few people have figured out that you can just order the AR magwell from a place called Gravel Agency, apparently it's pretty cheap, drop it in, and it works perfectly. I don't know if this will work on the gen 2 but the magwell looks about the same.
