Do you think you have the pain tolerance to pack your own junctional GSW?I am not confident, personally. I don't think I could successfully use anything out of my IFAK on myself that wasn't either a tourniquet or something so minor an ETB would do the job.
I Just bank on adrenaline doing its job so I'll be cool. Cant imagine I'd pussy out when its life or death I also havent noticed injuries for a bit in the heat of the moment before.>>64834399

>>64834399I've experienced that level of pain before and remained functional, but there's a psychological aversion to damaging my own body that I can't overcome. Not sure if I could pack my own wound, but I know for a fact that I couldn't suture my own wound even though I'd have no problem watching someone else do it to me. I'm not even 100% that I could self administer an epipen.
I’ve put tourniquets on in a couple of first aid classes I’ve taken, but I don’t know if I’d be able to handle a gsw. I guess if it’s ’do it or you die’ I could but it would have to involve a lot of adrenaline probably
