What are FRTs:
Forced Reset Triggers (FRTs) are firearm modifications that allow semi-automatic rifles to fire more rapidly by automatically resetting the trigger after each shot, while still requiring a trigger pull for each round. They increase the rate of fire without converting the firearm into a fully automatic weapon.

AR-15 is the most ubiquitous platform with the most amount of options. Other platforms have other nuances.

Not as far as I'm aware. I spent a fair bit of time and effort trying to get a three position setup to working used the machined style AK FRT kit like this one, plus a mil spec surplus trigger, and I also tried with an ALG AKT, and I couldn't get it to run reliably without feathering the trigger which IMO doesn't count.
That faggot Kiloguns is charging $550 for $100 of parts and maybe at most an hour of labor per install, and his shit binds up under hard trigger finger pressure and he claims that it must do so otherwise it is le real ebin machine gun. Retard.

Anyway, yeah as far as I'm aware there isn't a good three position AK FRT SS yet. I'll be surprised if the Atrius product, which I assume is an AK FRT SS three position system, doesn't basically come as a complete FCG with cam. The issue I ran in to is that you need the right clearances between cam reset ramp profile, main trigger hook, and disconnector.

You are spoiled for choice for the AR15 platform, check out the the list in the OP for options, but it all comes down to if you want a lever, if you are okay with milspec triggers or not, if your lower has a low shelf, etc...
>>
>>64836323
the partisan FRT would probably work best for you
>>
>>64836082
I have not but I haven't had a whole lot of time to play with it. My original SS was causing it to bind up so I tossed in a DTT and it would hand function. When I went to test it out I only had a few rounds of subsonic, it was -5, and I forgot my ear pro as I was trying to get out before the snow came and forgot to test different gas settings for the supers.. Right now I've got a arc in with a g$ sd3g with a flat trigger that sits further forward.

In all honesty, if I bought an frt for a Glock (or anything for that matter) would the government knock at my door?
I think that’s the only thing that scares me about it with just how wishy washy the ATF is regarding this stuff.
>>
>>64837553
Currently all FRTs are legal federally including handguns although some people say that the FRT legality was only for rifles which I personally do not believe. Let's say in the future they are illegal, they would just come to your door and ask for what you have like the previous rarebreed fiasco and that's it really

I'm seeing a lot of this in the FRT world. I asked AS Designs at SHOT show about handgun FRT's and everyone at the booth said "fuck no" in unison. they then went on a talk about the rarebreed settlement, even though nobody but rare breed agreed to the settlement. idk what their lawyers tell them.
they told me "we dont need no ATF letters fuck the government" yet put their legs between their pants for pistols. it would be funny if it wasnt so sad.

Why would anyone make a 320 FRT? Why not 365?
>>
>>64837652
320 would be easier to control than a 365, why would you want it in a 365?
>>
>>64837654
He probably has a 365, don't you think?
>>
>>64837662
probably but the question was, why would ANYONE make a frt for the 320, not something like, why not ALSO for the 365
>>
>>64837654
365 has a Flux and is less likely to UD
>>
>>64837673
>Flux
There it is.
>>
>>64837652
>>64837667
even with all the UD issues and lack of confidence, the P320 still has hundreds of thousands of units in circulation that nobody is going to throw away in the trash wholesale. The government might but that's a different beast, they would probably just sell them for parts. People who bought their $500 compact or $1000+ legion aren't going to destroy them to make a point. Either people will sell them for a loss or keep them in a safe and only fire at the range or never touch again. Millions of dollars of practically brand new hardware isn't going to evaporate overnight.

An FRT gives people an 'out' for the pistol. Turn it into a range toy for fun if they want to. Plus with police departments selling off their stock there's more cheap guns/parts flooding the market, which causes more people to see the P320 as a fun little thing to shoot trash with. Even without the Flux and similar chassis there's still a reasonable niche an FRT can offer. An FRT wont save the P320 but it could give a soft landing for some people.
>>
>>64837717
this, I dont even have a 320 and wasnt on the radar for me until the FRT was announced

it wouldnt be an arrest so there wouldnt be a warrant, they would just know you have it and will confiscate it or ask you for it like before.
>>
>>64838873
That's just their agreement with rarebreed. They're saying they will drop the case and not pursue further legal action if rarebreed follows those conditions. Batfags v. Raregreed did nothing to establish the legality of FRTs or offer any protections to other manufacturers. It sounds like other manufacturers are following batfags requests of raregreed in the mistaken hope that it affords them some kind of protection from litigation.
>>
>>64838873
Yes, but in order to do anything about handgun FRTs, the ATF would have to make the claim that an FRT is a machine gun and that they gave Rare Breed a free pass to manufacture illegal machine guns. That wouldn't end well for them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-EFJ-c69vc

I know their not a huge manufacturer/importer, but it's pretty interesting to see a manufacturer/importer demonstrate FRTs in their guns officially. Makes me think that firearms being equipped with FRTs from the factory is maybe not terribly far away, at least not with smaller operations like GForce.
>>
>>64841246
>i miss when sig was based and made their "muzzle brakes" for the mpx
That was the batfags calling shenanigans. Suppressors are extra fucky because the statute was actually amended to define parts as being title 2 firearms as well, vs every other title 2 firearm only being regulated when fully assembled and functional. Constructive possession for MGs, DDs, AOWs, SBRs, and SBSs is a matter of caselaw and interpretation so it's easier to get around.

>>
>>64845417
Directly from the owner

>It won't be crazy expensive (but everyone has varying views on what that is). But people have to keep in mind all of the parts inside are custom except the ejector lever. So it's not off the shelf stuff that we can get from a normal OEM, custom trigger, hammer, ARC parts, selectors, disconnector, trip parts, etc. All custom. It's not a factory pack with a couple parts added/replaced, it's a ground up redesign. We also don't believe in "HK type part = more expensive", so there's no HK tax or anything.

>We're not giving pricing yet until we have all the parts fully in production and we know what actual costs will be (labor is gonna be a part of it as these are way harder to put together than an AR style lower). Unless you want a metal printed (DMLS) version, that's like $4K for the prototype, lol.

Some say around 500 because the g3 people that their order cancelled was going to get like 250 back
>>
>>64845589
M16A1 and M16A3 sure because those were full auto, you also have the option to use kabuto style drop in FRTs, those allow M16 selectors with some fitting iirc. I'm not sure there is a non ambi version of the regulator

Anyone tried that Beretta 92 FRT yet? Curious how well it works.
>>
Took my jakl bulpup out for testing and think I am narrowing down what I need to do to get it to work. I would get hammer follow on SS mode, but I found out if i shoved a stick through the side opening that has access to the regular trigger and not the bullpup trigger I could get SS mode to work just fine. Making me think that the linkage might be heavy enough to cause drag on the BCG causing the hammer to release before it fully closes. I think if I toy with the linkage distance to the trigger I might be able to find a sweet spot where its just barely enough for the bullpup trigger to fire, but not so much that it puts too much excess weight on the trigger/ss and cause the hammer follow.
