I ordered a bunch of .380 HST's solely because they come in boxes of 50 which is kino, are they any good from a 2 3/4 inch barrel?

Regardless of which brand of ammo you went with, the answer is always no. .380 needs a 3" or longer barrel to get enough velocity to get decent penetration and expansion. What some people do when they get the shorter barrels that will cause the bullets to never expand is just shoot FMJs out of those guns so that despite not getting enough expansion, they'll at least get enough penetration.
