>order a couple magazines online>choose USPS cuz it was a couple dollars cheaper than fedex options>package gets stuck in blackville USA (looked up demographics of city since i never heard of it)>now it doesnt even say where it is just that its late but totally coming in 1-3 daysSome black person in a warehouse stole my got dang magazines didnt they
No, USPS is just dogshit. The only carrier slower is DHL. I had a sticker take ten days to arrive from a town a two hour drive away. It took a week for them to deliver a piece of mail from my house to the PO box of my local post office. Never use USPS for shipping if you can avoid it. I watched one package move back and forth between the same facilities for a week solid, the facilities were a 30 min drive away from each other.
I worked for USPS. It's a print error causing repeated processing. Someone will notice it and fix it don't worry once they scan the same box enough times. They always made sure employees didnt take anything home.
>>64838073DHL is fucking awful. I feel USPS has improved (slightly) over the years, but DHL is truly bottom of the barrel.
I've got some holsters that were 2-day shipped through fedex that have been stuck in Hutchins TX for a week now. Fedex isn't even giving me a delivery date anymore, just a "We'll let you know when soon :)))". I'm not too pissed because I assume they got backed up during the holofrost.
>>64838058USPS isn't super bad. Generally speaking all couriers have a suck rate, something like 1-5% of your shipments get fucked. USPS is generally on the low side from my experience and at least they fucking move shit on Saturdays (and Sundays sometimes) consistently. If you're not dealing with the big 2+1 (UPS, FedEx and USPS) you're either dealing with a regional courier (hit or miss, some are great) or you're dealing with some upstart thing (ex: Maersk Parcel) which means you have a chance of being fucked by a nail studded baseball bat as you wonder where the fuck your package is for 3 months before it shows up at your door one day while tracking information hasn't been updated.Bell Gardens, CA is where packages go to die because that place is one of the huge sort facilities when you're dealing with USPS.t. Had to deal with shipments for a small business
>>64838058The USPS carrier stole my model 28 but I can’t prove it. The store was closed so it had ti be redelivered the next day but it never made it back into the USPS depot
>>64838058I posted this in another thread but I’m having the same issue with a rifle that was shipped to me. It hung out in Charolette for like 10 days before showing up in Chicago (still several hours away from me), where it’s currently been sitting for a few days. It seems like everything is just moving really slowly. Mine was mailed several days before the bad snow/ice storm so that isn’t an excuse for them. I’m going to give it until Monday and if it hasn’t moved I’m going to go in to the post office and try and speak with someone. I internally asked the seller to use USPS because FedEx delivered my car parts to the apartment building down the road, and I would rather they not do that with a firearm.
USPS is pretty amazing. That said, cut the USPS budget 50%, raise commercial postage rates 100%, make senators and representatives pay the normal rate, reduce "book rate" 50%, reduce PO box fees 50% and reduce USPS postal workers pay 10%. Online billing, email, and private parcel carriers do better for less or free.
>>64838058>blackville USAWtf?
>>64838058I order some pouches and stripper clips for a garbage rod from Numrich a couple weeks back and and it took USPS FOUR BUSINESS DAYS to ship them like 85 miles from Downstate NY to me.>Why is the USPS failing? Maybe its because they suck ass at their job and their lunch money is being stolen by private enterprise who does everything they do better and faster.

>>64838328Not-detroit in michigan, and not a suburb of detroit actually. More than 50% black
USPS and UPS are fine IME, every single fed ex driver I get seems to be an ex con. Had a thermal delivered by fedex, second hand. The guy shipped it in just the storage case taped over with the label. Fedex driver rolls up, drops it off, walks back to his truck and starts doing funny fucking twirling with his hands, then a sentra with no plates and bald tires rolls up after he leaves (and after I grabbed the thermal) and sits outside my house for two minutes then bolts. Obvious the driver was coordinating with the porch pirate.UPS drivers are generally super well paod so they get to pick the cream of the crop.Did have a funny experience with USPS. During the holidays a few years ago a fat 300lb postal inspector was tailing USPS in an AMG S-class Mercedes, brand new with temp tags, at every stop.
>>64838335oh fuck this nigga in Flint
>>64838058USPS is a based American institution and I will not accept slander against it. Billionaire faggots would love to gut it. Sorry about your mags tho, ive never had issues with USPS but they are kinda slow sometimes, like right now GIMME MY SHIT USPS.
>>64838058>anon blames da niggers instead of just understanding that USPS fucks up all the timeMy jacket was at my local processing center 30 minutes away. It's now in San Antonio, for some fucking reason.
>>64838073Same here for certified mail, but for 3 weeks in a circle. I had to file and pay for an interdiction to stop the letter. Then paid again to resend it express priority.
>>64838058Postal inspector checking your shit because you're on a watchlist.
>>64838073If they were better funded and under leadership that wasn't actively sabotaging them for private interests they'd be better at this.
