You've seen BUKbreaking
Now prepare for TORtanic
Three TORs destroyed in single day. drones used are FP-2 with 60kg of explosives
>>
>anti AIR vehicles
>killed by aircraft
this is just not right, no one follows the rules of warfare anymore?
>>
>>64886480
Is that a heart?
>>
>>64886499
they are designed against evil HATO Boeing 777 and evil HATO drones
>>
Warcrime.

ukraine <3 dead ziggers
>>
>>64886677
We'll see about that when Trump takes down the Mullahs this weekend, dubsman.
>>
>>64886508
Ukies are very kind people, even to their own detriment
>>
>>64886677
even the power of those kind of digits ain't making it true
>>
>>64886677
>Wow attacking lone wolves. You've showed them for sure. This kind of shit wouldnt even happen with China/Iran/NK.
On the contrary, the jews have already exposed the lions of allah as second rate lmao
>>
>>64886677
yeah, I think Iran should bunch up their AA systems. Jews would absolutely hate it!

Those FP-1 and 2 series of drones are fucking crazy when it comes to effect/cost as they're only about $60k
Compared to a $25million AA system, that's just not a race Russia can win
>>
>>64887158
>Compared to a $25million AA system, that's just not a race Russia can win
Russia doesn't need to buy or build those systems to replace them, those were all built during the last 50 years
>>
>>64887181
I don't think you understand how often modernisation gets issued to AA systems, all the fire control, radars and missiles are practically always in some kind of life-extension service. Plus those missiles themselves are very expensive being close to about 800k, load enough of them up and that's ordinance which costs a lot to let rip at cheap drones.
>>
>>64886480
I think the bigger news tonight is the Ukies blowing up parts of the Votkinsk plant in Udmurtia. 1400km from the frontlines. Place builds Iskanders, Topol-Ms and is IIRC the only producer of Oreshnik.

>>64887181
And now they can't be replaced anymore LMAO.
>>
>>64887221
>Russians
>Updating and maintaining anything
There's a reason we keep seeing Russian air defense assets get destroyed by aerial attacks.

>those missiles themselves are very expensive being close to about 800k, load enough of them up and that's ordinance which costs a lot to let rip at cheap drones.
Too expensive to shoot the missile at the drone, I guess we have to let the drone destroy the missile and the launcher as well.
>>
>>64886480
>>64887275
So this is why ziggers are spamming blacked porn today. Thanks.
>>
>>64887181
>Russia doesn't need to buy or build those systems to replace them, those were all built during the last 50 years
so they are infinitely less replaceable than the cheap drones?

I am once again asking where the fucking tunguskas are?
Both sides list them in inventory and they show up in the oryx kill feed so they must be doing something somewhere.
Yet I've only seen them twice and both times they were doing absolutely nothing.
Are ALL the tunguskas broken or something?
>>
>>64887318
Yes, but unless ukies start destroying dozens of those AA systems every day, it won't become a dent
>>
>>64887524
>Are ALL the tunguskas broken or something?
The only tunguskas I've seen were 4 or 6 in 2022 that were scuttled parked right next to each other in a field. There was a video of a Russian soldier walking down the line of them, calling out each unit's deficiencies (not one working radar between the lot, for instance) and swearing in the manner they do. Then they were lit on fire with improvised incendiaries, because the Russians were retreating and each of them also had fatal deficiencies in their running gear and could not keep up with the retreating column.

I suspect that they are a high wear system with a lot of proprietary parts and spares are a consistent issue.
>>
>>64887524
>Are ALL the tunguskas broken or something?
There were photos of ukie tunguskas covering areas near the frontlines like in 2023-2024 at the very least. Not sure about russias.

You've got to give it to pantsir. Total POS that it is, it at least has the decency to show up to the fight and shoot at things sometimes. It really showed that Azeri airliner who's boss.
I wonder if tunguska just sucks really hard no matter what you do or if they're just sensitive like Shilkas are?
Jeez you'd think a military as pathologically obsessed with GBAD would you know... make decent systems and put some effort into taking care of them. Just a thought.

>>64887585
Of course the only ones spotted actually doing their job are Ukrainian.
Still, 240 for russia and 75 for Ukraine means we really should be seeing more of them.
Soke of the newest tunguskas were made as recently as 2017 for Pete's sake! That's a shelf life like fresh fish.

No aftermath?

Didn't both sides stop using CAS almost 2 years ago due to them being easily shot down?

What are these mobile AA's doing on the frontline, when they can't even target FPVs?
>>
>>64886499
tors can't function on the move
>>
>>64887714
to stop CAS from being used
>>
>>64887524
Well either they don't work, or they work so well the drones that try to take them out never come back.
Honest to god, it's 50/50, they should be absolutely shredding drones that come too close, but then again, it's a Russian system, so we don't even know if the radar picks up the drones to begin with.
>>
>>64887524
Its old, its kind of shit, the radar is sub-par and had trouble even shooting down Shasneed drones so its basically fucking rubbish against something like an FPV or the big FP-1 drones. Technically it was 'supposed' to be replaced by the Pantsir but its seemed to be mostly fucking rubbish as well
I dunno
Guess they're not being thrown away but being a SHORAD its also got terrible survival rates as well being close enough to do much, they did upgrade 'some' but if that's worth a pinch of poo for an old-ass gun/missile wombo combo is anyone's guess unless someone can drag up some 1st hand operators reports
>>
For how precious AA assets are, I wonder how there isn't a constant friendly drone overwatch to look out for foes. You could counter these with a powerful EW that would reach out to 100m or so.
>Overwatch reports a threat
>Turn on EW and make the drone miss by 10m
>Survive and relocate immediately
>>
>>64887801
Nvm I just realized the FP2 probably has optical terminal guidance so making the operator blind wouldn't do shit
>>
>>64887803
Plus you're using EW next to a radar so it would often be a case of
>it depends
Like which freq are the radar and enemy drones are using in order to not wash everything, its probably why the ziggers started using the Starlink satellite freq in Ukraine as it would not be something they'd be blocking locally.
>>
>>64887524
Tunguskas are low performance. They are only good at shooting helicopters really and occasional A-10 going brrrrrttt. They simply lack targets.
>>
>>64887801
>I wonder how there isn't a constant friendly drone overwatch to look out for foes.
There is.
(it's Ukrainian)

They did take out the aircraft, but unfortunately they threw the game by ending with a K/D ratio of 0.

Ukrainians still use the french guided bombs, and rocket lobbing is still a thing. Don't forget that the Ukrainians managed a helicopter insertion of special forces into pokrovsk not too long ago.

Tornado-bros......why didn't the extra wheels protect it??
>>
>>64887708
Aren't pantsirs basically upgraded tunguskas that we put on kamaz trucks instead of tracked tank chassis? Maybe russians actually converted most of their tunguskas into pantsirs?
>>
>>64887801
>Survive and relocate immediately
Often the goal is to not be detected because you're already in the only good position nearby, so there's nowhere to relocate. You disable the drone == you confirm where the forces are == you spawn arty shells on your position.
>>
>>64887800
>Its old, its kind of shit
I remember recently ukies posted about volunteers upgrading some of the old soviet AA systems. And there was a spec sheet attached. Basically the soviet variant needed like 18 seconds to even notice the target or something like that.
