I'm the first guy except i got mine for my Xbox 360 collection id rather look like im going for my wallet and ruin a coat pocket than clearly reach for a gun

what about you? what do you carry
>>
I carry muh dik ahah
>>
>>64887551
>16 pound trigger pull
This is the shit of nightmares
>>
>>64887551
Have a nice appendix set up with a red dot autoloader. But 9/10 I pocket carry an LCR 9mm. It just works
>>
>>64887551
There was a thread for this weeks ago
>>
Defending yourself with a 357 snub gives you better chance of staying out of Federal Pound Me In The Ass Prison as well. Until rule of law collapses, the preconceptions and biases of normie jurors should play heavily into your EDC choice.
>>
>>64888209
that is fudlore
>>
>>64887551
>id rather look like im going for my wallet
>in 2026
That's not a thing, gramps.
>>
>>64888209
>AYUP all ya need is a single shot, 36" 20ga and an old 32 lemon squeezer to defend yerself. The courts'll hang ya fer so much as thinking bout a more powerful gun
Kindly cite a single case where the firearm used had any outcome on the case. No Fisk doesn't count since it was a mistrial
>>
>>64888209
Actually, as rule of law breaks down, the need to appear proportionate to the asshole local authoritai figures increases. Juries (both Grand and Trial) have been fantastic about not letting the fact that some dipshit cop or prosecutor was offended because you had a better gun or more aggressive looking tactical gear affect the justice you receive.

In the future, you might need to have a cute and demure defensive gun, as our separation of powers is highly threatened and this is causing our justice system to break down, but so far, I'd say it's not yet a significant risk unless you're only a resident and not a citizen or you were a spanish as first language speaker.
>>
i carry a titan .25 in uncle mikes pocket holster in pocket with 60 grain buffalo bore
>>
>>64887551
I usually pocket carry a Ruger LCP or a S&W 442 with a spare speed strip. The LCP is smaller so it tends to get carried a lot. It is maximum EZ and Comfy while being a hell of a lot better than not having a gun. I can't even imagine going about my day EDCing a battle brick with a red dot, comp and a festival of spare magazines poking out every which way. Maybe if I had to run around the shittiest part of town all day that would be worth it, but I'm white and work a decent job so that's not my reality.
>>
>>64888580
That’s a reasonable response, get out

>Only downside is you'll forget you're carrying it
The only .357 snubs this applies to are airweights, and if you carry one of those you either exclusively shoot watered down loads or you hate yourself
>>
>>64887551
>who would win
>against a criminal adversary
Why cant both win? They both look capable.
>>
>>64887551
Pistols aren't illegal to carry here but I'd take the snub nose in the pocket every time. That's what the pros carry. If he's further than 2 yards from me he's not dangerous to me so aiming wouldn't be a priority
>>
>>64889028
The pocket contains the flash, duh
>>
>>64888209
Might not even be defending yourself if you just walk away because you left no casings
>>
>>64889065
Like using a pillow or mango as a silencer.
>>
>>64887551
>hot weather
38 snub IWB for concealability, speed strip innapocket

>not hot but not cold weather
compact 9mm pistol IWB, typically no spare mag

>cold weather
compact or full size 9mm pistol in shoulder holster, 2 spare mags for counterbalance at no cost to concealability
>>
>>64889105
Changing with the weather seems like something a woman would do
>>
>>64888209
It doesn't matter if you use a .22 or a .50bmg. Some asshole prosecutor is going to bring up your gun, ammo choice in trial and attempt to manipulate the jury.
>>
>>64888226
I'm 23 do you not have a wallet?
>>
>>64889138
If it looks intimidating it never helps. Signals premeditation and that you have a darker character, whether that's fair or not. Any weapon not just guns
>>
>>64889145
normies use apple pay or whatever, carry photos of their ID etc. quite despicable really
>>
>>64888154
yea but its now

>>64888241
people do stupid shit like this with out thinking about because they are retarded
>>
Spoon feed me why 357 out of a snub nose is a bad or good choice.

Isint the short barrel a detriment to 357s potential, making it about as effective as a 9mm, where you can have double or more the capacity with no real downsides?

Is soft point 357 worth it for a carry snub nose ?
>>
>>64889148
i never understood using anything other than your banks digital pay especially because debit and credit cards exist
>>
>>64889155
Fires from the pocket. Semis can't, at least not reliably because of there is pressure on the muzzle from the fabric the slide is pushed back.

Can't be soft wristed either, happens pretty often on Police Activity both from the criminal and the cops, high stress situations effect anyone's coordination
>>
>>64889158
People would rather just pay a % surcharge and use their phone that they're already holding rather than go through the huge inconvenience of getting out a card, swiping it and even pushing manual buttons. The surcharge is even shown to them at the end of the month and they just see it as just part of modern life
>>
>>64889155
at a couple feet it doesn't really matter small size and reliability is good as well
>>
>>64888209
Fuck off Elmer. Show me one case, just one, where the choice of gun caused a conviction.
>>
>>64889130
>reeeeee how dare you wear a coat when it’s cold
NTA but I’ll be comfortable and wear what I want rather than care what internet strangers think of my attire
>>
>>64889155
>Isint the short barrel a detriment to 357s potential, making it about as effective as a 9mm
My 2.25 inch .357 can shoot a 158gr jhp at over 1300 fps. Can any comparable 9mm do that even with +p+?
>>
>>64889176
Yeah but wear loose clothes in summer too. Using summer to have an excuse to wear skimpy clothes like a whore is woman coded
>>
>>64889180
NTA but hat's impressive. Still, 4 inches barely makes the thing much more cumbersome
>>
>>64889186
You aren't wrong, i just wish there were more options for IWB holsters for longer barrels
>>
>>64889200
Yeah idk the details I'm a nogunz country, min length is 30 inches and if it's not in a steel safe at all times except a designated hunting area or range you basically lose your license for 10 years minimum. I myself lost it for 13 years for some mental health stuff, it was meant to be lifelong but thankfully in the last decade the public's attitude to mental health is a lot more accepting >>64889200
>>
>>64889207
NTA but holy shit anon. What country?
>>
>>64889186
I think 4 is very doable. I made a janky ass holster for my 5" 686 back in the day(poorly molded kydex over the trigger with a single belt hook) and it was pretty poky when sitting down, particularly if you lean forward. Thing had the habit of trying to partially cup a single testicle with the muzzle crown which was... Yea. You could do a lot better but I'd probably stick with 4" for IWB, personally not a fan of smaller revolvers. Yea it's "better" than 9mm but so are a lot of things and if I'm going down to 6-7rnds I want a performance gulf to justify the thing and better enable my larping fantasies.
>>
>>64889306
New Zealand. Have to be the best goy and stay that way to keep them. We have some pretty bad criminals here that would be worse if we had lax gun laws so it does make some sense. What sucks though is we have no roving cops like USA too, so if I called them they'd be over an hour away. In fact if I called them right now and said someone was attacking me they might say to be very careful what I do in response and they'll be there before the end of their shift unless something urgent comes up
>>
>>64889322
I'm sure they could design a smarter bullet design if they wanted to, have a shorter wheel on it making it overall more compact without having to just lop the barrel or give it a tiny handle

Based?
Either a 32 or 44 snub depending on how much I need concealment.
>>
>>64889341
Based and right brain hemisphere pilled
>>
>>64889146
If anything that's a mark against a 357 snubbie since everyone knows magnum=powerful where a glock or any other strikerslop is just a run of the mill handgun

What's funny to me is everyone, including people like >>64889165 get taxed on every purchase instead of just holding their wallet up to the reader. I get cashier's asking me what I'm doing all the time kek. One even told me it wasn't safe to do that because people would steal my cards lmao. I told him I don't care about the banks money since it's insured on my end.

Phone pay is a scam and honestly slower than using my card.

Personally I don’t think choosing some polymer framed striker fired pistol with 10+ rounds in the mag over a 6 shot revolver is gonna get you fucked in court, just don't cerakote “fuck niggers” on it or something and you’d be fine.

Are you me? I love my LCP. It fits nicely in my back pocket and has made it past numerous security checkpoints basically on accident. 7 rounds of .380 hollow points is plenty to handle your every day meth head druggie demanding your wallet or a road range dumbass pounding on your car window. I do own several other larger pistols but I just can’t find a reason to carry them. Unless I’m going downtown or something, then Ill throw a double stacked 9mil in my glove box

I saw this posted on Twitter but a Brazilian communist who wants all white people to be killed. I’ll stick to appendix carrying a real gun and not the memes of pocket carry
>>
>>64889146
I always figured intimidating would be a positive, it makes it feel more like you're trying to make a potential attacker back down and then were forced to make a Jackson Pollock with his internals when he didn't back down

I’m working hard to get my first shot on target to be below .9s from concealment. Before I seriously trained draws I was at 1.5s from concealment, current me could put 4 rounds on target before old me could get one.
