Won me an auction last night on a S&W 500 for $899 ($1000 after shipping and taxes). Gun certainly has some wear in the pics but its all cosmetic and will be easily polished away. Spending the money I saved on ammo instead.

I clean them if they're going into the big safe, whatever's not in the big safe just gets shot and lubed until the next time it sees the big safe. I love living in the desert where nothing rusts or rots.

Is this normal wear for the under side of a Glock barrel? There's some on the top, too, but less.

this is a $80 overstock part from spectre supply, as long as it emits 9mm from a G35, it's fine
but, looking at that wear, I probably need to find something else, soon

It were sarcasm, anon, that wear is perfectly normal.
>>
>>64888849
thanks, I'm too tarded to get that
>>
>>64888855
It does vary, some do more, some do less, notably people have said the GenV Glocks wear more noticeably than previous ones and it's often attributed to tighter fitment, and the finish on the barrel of course makes a big difference in how it will wear. It's gotta be really excessive to indicate an issue.
>>
>>64888873
It looked unusual to me, because I didn't even shoot it that much, but it might be because it's the only bare non finished barrel I got.

.22 enjoyers please how could I custom my MkIV 22/45 Tac a bit ? I want to like it, but I don't currently. Upper rail is too big, irons are quite meh. I'd need a small red dot, not mailbox-tier. Also 10 rounds but i'm stuck with that.
>when I say "custom"
I just mean small improovments with small new parts, not fully different slides or else. The overall aesthetic should remain quite the same I guess.
>also i'm euro
Tandemkross and Volquartsen (and maybe Ruger) are shipping to Europe through EasyExport. I could probably buy non-ITAR parts. But no mags, no full slides or frames, and so on. Any input could help, thanks, moreso from MkIV enthusiats.

Wtf Langdon is out his damn mind.
Has anyone tried dual hammer? Not like it's that much cheaper.
>>
>>64888987
Langdon included plate, Cerakote, new front sight, and new decocker conversion

Dual hammer does the beretta OEM cut last I checked which isn’t as good and to get it close to how the Langdon cut is

Look at vortex and holosun for small optics. No need for a trijicon rmr or sro on a 22 plinker. You can always remove the rail or irons. Maybe an enhanced bolt or trigger.

Haven't cleaned or lubed my 92 in ages. It's starting to not lock back on empty mags so I'm going to have to lube it soon. Could have been the ammo too.

>>64889057
They don't charge less for no cerakote, but you get it back quicker.
>>
>>64889118
anons have noticed that between frames the mag release is in a slightly different position so mags can either sit higher or lower in different frames. you might have a low sitting frame so you might need stronger magazine springs (?) or follower tuning or something to get the slide to lock back more positively.

Does anyone make an extended guide rod for the beretta 92?
>>
>>64888891
Walther mogs based on this. It's honesty insane how cheap they are compared to their quality. It's a 1/4 price HK for something like a PPS.

Also in other news. Jay at EA told me a slide stop spring for a Five-seveN hasn't been available for 2 years. WTF FN! He's currently having them made as they're a common break item apparently.
>>
>>64889359
Many years ago I was at the local range and was talking to an RSO I was friends with. He mentioned that it was a red letter day as the man who made his very expensive custom 1911 was coming to visit. I hung around until the man showed up.

I will never forget the look of reverence on the gunsmith's face as his fingertips traced the holster wear on the 1911. The RSO looked a tad worried and apologized for not taking better care of it. The gunsmith waved him off and said "This is what I always hope to see and never do.

Shoot your guns, people

I believe I was the one that found this out actually. This was because I got aftermarket baseplates and they needed some fitting to work in all my 92s. I think this one is just dirty. I literally never clean my shit until they demand my attention. Picrel is I think the last time I lubed it.

>>64889179
Really like this. The text is clean, I'd still prefer without it especially the TRP. Not a fan of the hammer or rounded trigger guard.

They're fantastic shotguns. I haven't had one so smooth and easy to handle since my FN SLP Tactical.

I was going to go further and have drills for holster, low ready, caliber. The gun type settings seem to have no effect which is retarded, and it doesn't seem like you can extend the start random interval?

I'm considering using the feature where it can beep in headphones, it was hard to hear sometimes
