I’ve had this shelf for nearly a decade. I’m not putting heavy shit on the shelf and heavier guns off to the side. Will this shelf give out one day or is it fine? I just don’t want my handguns taking a spill
>>64891697If that's made out of plastic, yes.
>>64891697Just get a small piece of wood to screw the shelf into to make it more rigid.
>>64891697>remove shelf>flip over>reinsert>bend will now self-correctEz
>>64891697We can see you op
>>64892013>Just get a small piece of wood to screw the shelfjust replace the plastic shelf with a piece of wood
Nigga is the size of dj khaled or some shit
>>64892349Lmao. It’s blurry enough and it isn’t like I’m posting some edgy shit either
>>64892078Won’t it just bend the other way eventually?
>>64892437Then flip it over again
>>64892437>>64892473that's a good way to make it suddenly crack and fail at some point, when something bends like that the top is being put beyond its intended levels of stress in terms of compression and the bottom is experiencing the same in terms of stretch. Flip it over and the compressed stuff is now being stretched more than it should be and the stretched stuff is being compressed. OP should just replace it, the 10 bucks or whatever that'd cost is way worth the peace of mind versus sooner or later dumping a few grand worth of handguns into several grand worth of rifles.
>>64892498Any recommendations on what to replace it with? The simpler the better since this isn’t one of my major skill sets
>>64892868Piece of 5/8 inch thick plywood, cut to fit
>OP has a problem with cheap plastic>Answer to problem is a bit of wood>This needs to be a thread
