One of my first guns was a 6" stainless 1911 about 16 years ago
From that day on I thought I should have bought a 5" blued...

So 15 years later, I finally bought one

I enjoy them equally

The first IPSC World Champion, Ray Chapman used a Hoag Master Grade.
Hoag also made the 1911's in Thief (1981). A 6 inch and a Commander
