Should I buy another 92? Thinking on an M9A4 or LTT. Asked this in the last thread but I'll ask again. Anyone have experience buying guns from LTT? I have seen many, many posts in comments of YouTube videos says their customer service is just awful with them blaming the customer for any problems with the guns
>>649159315/10 chubby dudes look at a fit chick and say >huh not bad, would touch!
>>64915936That one video about px4 basically lays out the whole story. They take stock gun, don't test it, mod it, and ship. If gun was originally a lemon by Beretta, it remains one. If you start with your own gun, you can make sure it works before custom work is done to it.
>>64915936I have purchased 3 brand new LTTs, one PX4, one USP and one 1301, used I have bought 2 more, a 92 and PX4. No issues. I have bought a few TJIABs and other parts. No issues with them. CS wise, they have been okay. I have complained about the amount of locktite/threadlocker they use and they just give me crap about “PMS” but when a big YouTuber says the same thing they say “so sorry we will update our assembly instructions”. One time getting a slide optic cut took 12 weeks but the next time I got a cut I sent in two slides at once and they had them back to me in 3 weeks. One anon who’s cursed and has problems, they eventually fixed them all after some back and forth. They don’t give you free shit or tumble over themselves to make everything better than right. Some of the more common complaints I’ve seen is HKfags complaining about the Cerakote, scratches, and the optic plate leaving a tiny gap showing light underneath it. >>64916041This is fair. Though I wouldn’t expect lemons from beretta but I’m a beretta fag
>>64916092>I wouldn’t expect lemons from berettaThey are going to be very very rare
>>64916009>5/10thanks for the compliment
>>64916041>>64916092Recently watched two video by this guy:https://youtu.be/DSSGYpm5Myk?si=rN1nt4JRsMMmWvGahttps://youtu.be/wq_kWpEWZK4?si=MkKLM92pGw9XpiDGtldw; had some problems with the guns, contacted LTT, but didn't get their return email so the 2nd video was a retraction in that part. But in the comments of the second video are a lot of complaints on their CS which is kinda turning me away from them
>>64915923Would it kill you to put just slightly more tension in your arms?
>>64916118its the natural progression of a gun parts company. they start small, have good stuff with decent prices. they get big, raise prices, get too many order then start skimping on QC
So I just discovered that my G26 Gen 5 holster can fit not only the other bigger Gen 5 guns, but also a Gen 4.This is kind of a big deal since it means I can kind of save a lot of money and space with holsters
>>64915936I already have 3, and once my financial situation gets better, I'm getting the M9A4 and that will probably be my final 92FS
>>64916233Yeah it will basically fit every glock that doesn't have either a thicker slide (20, 21, 29, 30, 40, 22 gen 5, 23 gen 5, 27 gen 5, 37, 38, 39) or a thinner slide (42, 43, 43X, 48).

I use it to bump my 380 to 32 levels of capacity.>>64915411>ppks are notorious for behing dogshit to shoot in .380I have the 380 and 32 and 380 is perfectly fine with semi hot fiocchi.Anyone who thinks the 380 PPK hurts or is hard to run either needs a stronger recoil spring or they’re a sissy onions consuming troglodyte >>64916221Yeah basicallyAnd if you have a flat mag it’s extremely pocketable and cellphone sized. >>64916686Thanks, I didn't even know about the extender. I've relegated the PPK to pocket carry for the house, I don't know ow what that other anon is on about but shooting the PPK in 380 is pleasant, it handles quite well IMO.
I've seen multiple times people here mention using 380 compensated barrels in modern recoil operated designs, as something normal and beneficial. So you should not be surprised that same people will also consider straight blowback design outdated dogshit.

Tbh the kick between 380 and +p32 is almost the same. >>64918530There's the BFR
>>64918443Speer Gold Dot and Hornady XTP have different constructions and different performance as they’re intended for different purposes. Gold Dot is intended to expand as rapidly and largely as possible, and has a relatively thinner jacket that is bonded to the lead core and a big, deep cup. XTP is meant to penetrate deeply while still opening reliably and as such has a thicker jacket and shallower cup. Gold Dot is meant for shooting people, and XTP is meant for shooting animals. That’s why you’ll usually see Gold Dot in .44 Special form these days, although they did used to make a .44 Magnum Gold Dot load that was very light by Magnum standards. If you check other available people-shooting JHP .44 Magnum loads that are available, such as Federal’s Hydra-Shok or HST, you’ll find that they also are not loaded very hot. Factory ammo with XTPs, A-Frames, XPBs, etc. as their projectile are usually loaded hotter.>>64918484You may be interested to know that Buffalo Bore has such a load available in .44 Special form.

>>64918580You get used to it. Rubber grips definitely help a lot. For wood, the shape of the grip, particularly where the web of your thumb wraps around the backstrap, matters more than anything. Brand new S&W Model 29s come with these thin Altamont-style piece of shit grips that suck ass and have this stupid hard edge right where your thumb goes. Whoever approved for those needs to be subjected to an all-day shooting session with those grips and Buffalo Bore/Underwood loads. If you buy one, replace the OEM shitters with a set of original S&W target grips with the speedloader cutout and never look back. If you have a round-butt gun, such as a newer-production Model 629, you can put on the X-frame Hogue Tamer wraparound grips that give you a bigass cushion pad over the backstrap which is very nice, albeit bulky.

>>64921951This happens a lot with new shooters, almost never with an experienced one. It's very common for people to rest their thumb on the slide lock so just watch that
>>64921987I shoot mostly at 10m, and at that distance I have difficulty seeing new hits sometimes with .22 or 9mm unless the target is pretty fresh. At 25m I can't keep track of shit after the first few magazine or so. And I have 20/20 vision. I use adhesive splash targets I buy on amazon, what kind of targets are you using that you can track your hits at 25yd? Or are you magnifying? (I don't bring my spotting scope to the pistol range).
>>64922038Conversion barrel, lots of sources. Optional changes are extractor, ejector, lighter recoil spring.
I can get P220, P226 and P229 slides.Where can I get an M11-A1 slide? I don't want to buy the whole handgun.
>>64922152Interesting. This is being sold near me, I may pick it up, thanks!
>>64922124>>64922097Huh, cheers guys. I'll give it a go. I'm a new shooter but I have maybe like 500-600 rounds on a S&W BG2.0. That's still nothing, I know, but this has never happened on that gun.Still I always appreciate the grip tips. I was practicing that today, actually, to make sure the barrel isn't jerking around when I break the "glass wall"
>>64922190It can feel kind of weird at first because you want your dominant hand high and tight on the grip but if you're thumbs forward they'll be parallel to the slide lock. There's a little dip below the slide (you can see it on the Glock pictures above) that can serve as a thumb rest.
>>64921743Thanks for your reply anon! Pivoting/breakthrough sounds neat, didn't know those were a thing. The back strap makes a lot of sense and sounds pretty simple to diy. Any shoulder holsters you'd personally recommend? Taking a look at Falco, Craft, and Galco it looks like nice vertical/roto holsters with magazine pouches would run me a couple hundred, which is steep enough where I don't want to make a "bad" decision.
>>64922223Gripping it rn (lol) unloaded and you're right. Every time I'd break a shot at the range I'd choke up on the grip till the top of my palms hits the beaver tail. It doesn't seem like it's meant to be gripped this way as it fucks up my thumb positioning when I adjust to get higher up

I recently purchased a RIA 1911A1 on a good sale and beyond getting a couple Wilson Combat mags, swapping the grips and painting the front sight it’s a bone stock gun. I have nothing to compare it to, but is it worth swapping some of the parts like the trigger, hammer, sear, springs, extractor, disconnect and slide stop? Or should I just leave it alone and get good with it as it is? Pic rel

>>64922997the army also doesnt give a shit about them being high quality and its only required to be in the US for security reasonsan army doesnt want its guns manufactured in a foreign country that could disagree with them in the future or become a weak point where enemies could infiltrate the company by getting workers to sabotage the production since they may not give a shit about the foreign country buying themit also doesnt make sense for logistics because the army would have to protect shipping routes for the guns to get there and the government cant enforce rationing on the country to ramp up production if a massive war breaks out like WWIIplus any european factory is in much, much closer range to our enemies and if it was a war, the enemy could easily just lob missiles at the factories and then the US army's weapon production is crippled. make it in the US and its far away from the enemies, the government gets control over it, and logistics are much easiercop guns also do not have to be built in the US but a lot arethings have to go to bid when tax dollars are being used and there are conditions with that, such as it has to be made in the US to help the US job market since its US taxpayer dollars funding that purchase but every state does it differently and if they have the funds outright they do not have to put it to bidcivilians buying guns dont have to worry about that

Luckily he isn't stupid enough to use either of the beretta cats as a carry gun.The rails on the back of the frame show noticeable wear on both guns, I'm sure they limit the life of the frame but I'm sure if you cared enough about the stupid thing you could TIG a blob of aluminum where the worn out rail is and machine a new rail. The gun wasn't DESIGNED with an autist who wants to put 5,000 rounds of overpriced (.32 is more expensive than 9mm, almost twice the price) mouse gun cartridge through it, it was designed for concealing in baggy pants and rarely being used.
>>64923047>>64923214Y’all niggas can’t read breh. It says one per order.
>Mfw my permits finally went through, and I purchased a Tisas 1911 B45R before they become unavailable in the USAWe are so back, bros.
>>64924335>Italian guns don't lastThe 92fs will last longer than your favorite gun, that you don't actually own.
>>64922788>>64923181OK.
>>64924363Shut the fuck up retard we arent talking about the 92

>>64924390At least berettabros own guns.
>>64923026Gun noob here, own a 92. Is it really surprising that such a small handgun would only last a couple thousand rounds? I would think it's optimized for CC and not for routine shooting
>>64924396You really want to die on the Tomcrack hill huh
>>64924363>cherrypick one exampleSTFU you dumb faggot. The italians have not made things to last since the fall of rome, a couple of anomalies here and there doesn't change that.>>64924372 not me>>64924379STFU
>>64924409I'm not disagreeing that the 30x doesn't last as long as it should, only that you're a faggot that doesn't own guns.

>>64924465Im not the one backpedaling and throwing out baseless claims because they didnt read.
>>64924474>baseless claimNah, you're definitely a faggot. Nothing baseless about that. I've never seen someone so mad about someone else buying a gun.
>>64924478I accept your apology. Next time pay attention to the subject.
>>64924482Okay. Next time don't be a faggot.
>>64924488Thats some really good advice you should internalize.
>>64924363>The 92fs will last longer than your favorite gun,No it won't.>that you don't actually own.Yes I do.Also the 92/M9 is literally the only italian thing I can think of that isn't a total piece of crap lol. And I think it had issues when it was first adopted anyway.t. car guy
>best guns>best women>best cars>best foodI'm not even Italian and I see where their pride comes from Also, I have no sympathy for someone with a gun in a meme cartridge like .32
Do I replace the stock hellcat trigger or do I just git gud? 800 rounds through so far, amazing how I consistently shoot low left. I just now aim high right.
>>64924535I shoot my hellcat worse than any of my other guns as well, I think it's a skill issue because Hickok45 can ring the gong with a hellcat. I shoot it with my first knuckle and doing so reduced my low left tendency. >>64924531>best carsItalian cars are garbage. Even ferraris which are what most view as the peak of italian cars (they aren't, Pagani are) are known for being beautiful junk. They're just so expensive that people simp for them endlessly. All you need to see to realize ferraris are way worse than they should be for the cost is see one of those videos or photos that go around showing the apprentice tier welds on their chassis.
>>64923638Canaan is ok
>>64923554She handled that better than I would expect
>>64924535>amazing how I consistently shoot low leftInstead of spending the money on a trigger, why not take a class on how to shoot betterAm I the only guy here who takes classes
>>64924565>I shoot it with my first knucklejust tried this. Fucking hell, my dot is literally not jerking around anymore.>>64924688I like to work out my skill issues myself until I really can't.
>>64924565>Even ferraris which are what most view as the peak of italian cars (they aren't, Pagani are) are known for being beautiful junk. It's also worth mentioning that production goods are a better measure of overall quality of goods than boutique. A top of the line boutique item is obviously not representative, because exquisite high end limited items by the best craftsmen a nation has to offer are possible just about anywhere. America's high end custom 1911s are a great example, a Les Baer custom is a thing to behold, a Colt 1911 is $1,000 for a gun that seems only marginally better than a $400 gun out of turkey. Though the USA is a tough example because hardly anything "American made" is actually more than foreign stuff cobbled together in a factory that happens to be on US soil. With your car example fiat and alfa are representative of Italian cars and are fucking dogshit, vs something like a Pagani which is a built to order hand made work of art. I think Italian guns are probably one of the best examples of things they're capable of making if you want to make Italy look good.
>>64924535>No adjustable sightAvoid this common mistake
>>64924717>>No adjustable sight>Avoid this common mistakeIt's called a sight pusher. Dummy. 90%+ of carry guns don't have an "adjustable sight"
>Atta range>Firing muh G19>Decent groupings at 7yards>Black zoomer and his friends show up in the lane next to mine>Kid pulls out a Glock with extended mag>Friends are losing their shit about it>Feel like I can SMELL the resin used in the switch that's probably in that thing>He one-hands it>Nothing but iron sights>Target at 10 yards>I realize I'm about to be in a LiveLeak video and panic>Too late>Kid breaks one shot after another in clean succession>Semi auto>His skinny arm and grip don't flinch >Target comes back on the rails>God tier groupings>Young niggas go ape and start taking pics with their phone of them doing stupid shit with the gun Not only do the streets got shooters, I fucking kneel to the Glock Godd. Never been so thoroughly mogged in my life.
>>64921579Contributing but why would you aim at the squares and triangles instead of the A-zone or the radius targets?>>64924580It seems that technique really does supersede strength>>64924717Target sights were once revered as pistol optics are today
>>64924816Every day you don't train, they do>>64924715>I think Italian guns are probably one of the best examples of things they're capable of making if you want to make Italy look goodLil bro has never had spaghetti
>>64924816>the resin used in the switchI've never seen a plastic switch. They're all metal.>>64924865>spaghettiYou must be the most pleb manchild on the planet to use "spaghetti" as an example of good italian cuisine. Paulie walnuts ass nigga. Try some actual good italian food not italian american slop. Got to italy nigga.
>>64924335>.32 is more expensive than 9mm, almost twice the priceJesus. And here I was, sad to pay 34.1 cpr for .45 when I was only paying 18.7 cpr for 9mm in the same order. I guess it was 30.6 when I last bought in bulk last year, but I still can't imagine paying that much more than 9mm for a less potent cartridge.
>>64924897>never seen a plastic switchBecause the plastic modifications are for automatic fire only and not guaranteed to empty a high capacity magazine reliably
>>64924897>Paulie walnuts ass nigga.jejGABAGOOLWHADDYA HEAR WHADDYA SAY?
>>64924828>Target sights were once revered as pistol optics are todayWell yeah half the fun with ret dot is that it's adjustable.>>64924767>It's called a sight pusher. Dummy. 90%+ of carry guns don't have Yeah and for elevation you adjust by throwing away old front sight and putting in a new one. It's almost like guns with fixed sights are intentionally made for rapid inaccurate fire. It's a good defensive technology, but for recreational shooting it's as pleasant as shooting shotgun patterns on paper target.
>>64925434Not once have I ever been like “lemme fuck with my sights” while shooting a pistol. At most I’ve changed brightness. This is a nonissue. I bet you like magazine disconnects.
>>64925542Approach your next handgun shooting session as hunting practice. You can even get a cute little hunter safety class target with a deer with vitals, post it at a reasonable range (it's not a 1:1 scale target after all!), and try not to hit him in the guts.
>>64924897>You must be the most pleb manchild on the planet to use "spaghetti" as an example of good italian cuisineUnsurprisingly, your reading comprehension is not your strong suit. You are the one who brought up:>It's also worth mentioning that production goods are a better measure of overall quality of goods than boutiqueI mentioned spaghetti because even mid-tier Italian cuisine beats the food of most other cultures, let alone the high end stuff.
>>64925599Nice backpedal, just admit that you've never even been to italy and stop posting.
I want an optic but this is my biggest concern. How much of a problem is this really? Or things like sweat while IWB carrying in a humid state.
>>64925660get a closed emitter opdicks
>>64925677>closed emitterSure, what if there's dirt/mud/water/sweat on it when drawn and aimed?I'm not anti-optic I have an ACRO P2 on order. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can before getting my slide cut.
>>64925688>what if there's dirt/mud/water/sweat on it when drawn and aimed? You'll see the dot.
>>64925660Why would your gun be that dirty? Are you playing pretend soldier boy crawling in the dirt? No? >sweatWhy would your optic be drenched in sweat? Are you carrying AIWB while working out or some shit and dripping belly sweat onto it? I carry IWB with an optic fairly regularly, and I live in the south where it do be hot, and I've never seen even a sweat stain on my optic window.
>EPS CORE is still out of stockREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>64925694Even if it's on the rear window?>>64925722People fall in mud sometimes, people sweat...
>>64925660won't be a real issue
>>64925569You can make accurate hits without adjustable sights. You don’t need to wait to fiddle around with adjustable.
>>64925778Yes and no
>>64925778Wrong. If this were the case every combat and defensive handgun would have adjustable sights. Instead almost none of them do. Adjustable sights are only common on target pistols, which are designed for dudes who make fist sized groups at 50 yards
>>64925778Tell me you own less than 5 handguns without telling me you own less than 5 handguns.
>>64925841disregard this I am retarded and read >>64925778 your post as you CAN'T make accurate hits without adjustable sites
Speaking of optics, co witness sight opinion status?
Probably the best looking barrel crown ever
>>649258831/3, 1/4, absolute It does not matter, you should be looking at the target instead of your irons or dot
>>64925722I will disagree about sweat on the glass being from FLA. But nothing the occasional swipe of the shirt on it doesn’t fix
>>64925884Looks like a butthole
>>64925940I don't know how you guys are getting sweaty optics, does your optic press up against your gut or your side or something so sweat can run down into it? My holsters are set up so that the grip presses into me (using a wing or camming block or something like that) and my optic doesn't usually even touch my undershirt. Yes, I always wear an undershirt while carrying IWB. It's my cheat code for the grip texture and shit not rubbing uncomfortably with kydex (non hybrid) holsters.
>>64925969>>64925969>>64925969>>64925969
>>64925754yes
>>64925978eww clean your serrations bro
>>64925434>fixed sights are intentionally made for rapid inaccurate fireYou would be zeroed out to 25 yards with centered sights if the pistol itself was manufactured adequately
>>64925434You suck at shooting just admit it. If you can't shoot good groups with a decent factory zero on a decent gun (i.e. not a hellcat) you're the problem not the gun. Micro guns like the hellcat are not built to be any more accurate than necessary (minute of B zone at best at 50 yards)
