That's pretty localized damage for a missile strike. For the sake of not getting too autistic, I'll simplify to say that SAMs work by delivering a giant fucking birdshot shell to the vicinity of the aircraft and then firing. The results tend to be both extensive, and leave a distinct explosive aftermath in the vicinity of the aircraft. We can see a blast cloud in this video, but that matches with the cloud produced by the engine blowout in the other. If it was a SAM, we'd have a second cloud visible.
