I'm animating The Emperor and have no idea how the cylinder swivels or pops out so you can reload.Does it swivel from the barrel axis, but then the slide cover is in the way or does it pop forward like a M203?

>>64958944>how the cylinder swivels or pops out so you can reload.It could work like an air gun, so from the front with those speed strips or how those are called, no need for an extractor because you're loading only the bullets anyway, the energy comes from that orb (actually a pcp tank) anyway Also the cylinder is actually a weirdass mag, not a proper cylinder so you could make it open up as if it were six 1 bullet mags bolted radially together or make cuts in it allowing the slide to pick up a bullet when it goes backwards You could even make some asspull about the big ass slide counteracting the recoil because magic clearly has a bigger kickback than pcp kek

If you were to animate it, for swag points I'd make the entire cylinder pop out and dissapear, replaced with another cylinder that manifests in your free-hand. You could even do some cool reload animation where the cylinder is tossed/flipped and caught in the gun after a spin or something. or just have the cylinder cycle and glow each time a bullet is reloaded via-stand magic.
