Why are the Chinese are selling full size inflatable versions of their SAM systems?
>>
>>64962616
It's such a good decoy that it works just as well as the real thing!
>>
>>64962616
why not? nothing stops them. i wonder if they make decoys for western stuff too
also if they get destroyed they'll be spammed here
>>
>>64962616
it's good balloon business

not to defend the devil but iron dome isn't much better

Idk why i find it so cute to use a radar for drying clothes, it's like something out of a post-apocalyptic cartoon.
>>
Imagine being assigned to do decoy duty in a war where your KPI is literally to attract munitions and if you do a good enough job you will die.

I imagine even if the enemy knows that it's a decoy then they will bomb it anyway to play along.
>>
>>64962683
I'd fill my decoy with helium and release it during an enemy air raid to confuse people and bring whimsy to the battlefield.

it doesn't though.
>>
>>64962634
They do. A company in europe claimed they were making over 20 inflatable HIMARS decoys monthly. And they are fancy ones that even mimic the thermal signature somehow. This was a while back though

That one's actually based on truth.
There's been numerous NATO exercises where Americans have ran out of ammo mid-exercise and lost as a result of.
>>
>>64962616
Decoys are great. Under a bit of foliage you can't tell at all
>>
>>64962616
Can i put one up to summon jdams?
>>
>>64962616
Brilliant. Put one in your parking space when you go to work and you'll have a space when you get home, much better than road cones or a sofa.

Post the full size inflatable jets you can buy from china. You know the one.

You can buy them on Alibaba.

>>64962698
These are silly looking but assuming the chinks had the forethought to also put a space heater in them that also have them warm up to the appropriate temperature they would probably work pretty well against high altitude or satellite recon. I would be surprised if the US doesn't have something similar to the old WWII Inflatable Sherman Division for the same purpose.

Just because the chinese and other assorted browns are failures does not make everyone else is
>>
>>64962616
Wait... what if Iran actually bought these instead, thinking they got themselves the real deal!
>>
>>64963955
More sophisticated inflatable decoys include electric heating elements to at least try to mimic the IR signature of real thing.
>>
>>64964126
Wouldn't it make sense to make it with a layer of space blankets so it showed up as metal on ground radar?

>>64962793
Huh, that decoy really is set up as a Nork tank. I wonder if the Chinese know that or are using them as subcontractors. There are maybe two nations who use those besides the norks although i doubt anyone could tell it from a standard T-62 decoy from the air, i probably doesn't matter that much.

This is from 2025 and they all hit an empty beach. Why would you waste interceptors on things that hit nothing anyway? What's your brownoid cope for that? Anyways, ID is for cheap rockets, you stupid nigger. Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 are for ballistics, which you would know if you weren't a brown subhuman from /pol/.
>>
>>64962616
Failed idea from the start, build inflatable schools if you want the US to waste missiles

I want a SA-8 decoy to put in my backyard to fuck with the police helicopters when a nog is being searched for here in Detroit.
>>
I dont know what kinda weapons will be used in WW4, but I know WW3 will be fought with balloons.
>>
>>64966237
You need a search radar to really mess with them, RWR will tell them you've locked them up without having a bouncy castle in your back yard to give away your location.
Having a bouncy castle is never a bad thing though.
