It seats pretty tight against the slide so maybe you could seal it with some rtv silicone, would be a bitch to clean off when you change the battery.

It self aligns in the dovetail slot and the chamfers on the top corners of the slide.When I get a chance to test it I'll take it off and put it back on and see if theres a POI shift.
