i just got this as my new ccw. put a gold holoshit 407k on top. my g26 was a bit too chunky. bodyguard 2.0 is concealable but feels underpowered. hellcat pro plastic feels like a hard rubber to me, and i don't like the square frame. i have some other pistols that aren't great for concealed carry. cz p01 is too bulky and i don't like the inconsistency of the trigger on the first shot before hammer is cocked. i have a j frame revolver but that's too low capacity. i just went and put 200 rounds or so through my cc9 and it feels right. the magazines shoot out the bottom with some force. plastic feels nice and hard. mags don't rattle like my hellcat ones do. anyways. in another thread, everyone was shitting on the cc9 and it made me feel bad. maybe i'm uncultured or retarded or something, but i just wanted to say i like it. that's all.

>why do you guys hate the cc9?
There were a lot of lemons when they first came out. If you got a good one, then don't worry about it.

I spent a hot minute trying to find out if this thing was Ulm Walther or Cologne Walther before I realized it was HK lol
>>
Because it wasn't this
An actual micro-subcompact 9

>sig makes a special "anti snag" pistol with nothing that can catch on clothing or a belt
>meanwhile, at HK

Weakling.

Cool story, bro.
>>
Its showing up late to the game when guns like the 365 have covered the high capacity micro 9 category for years. I'm glad that more companies are making double stack micros that aren't G26 tier thick but they are all largely the same and they've been around for enough time now that no one's really going to be excited about another double stack micro as its just the new double stack subcompact meme that every company focused on 5-6 years ago.

Because it looks like a $200 G2C
>>

the P365 looks and feels like flattened dung

Add it to the list

If it feels right and shoots right then all the better for you, OP. Glad for you. Me, I personally hate shooting micro compacts. Love carrying them, which is the point, but if I can't shoot them efficiently then that's the more important half of the task failed. I've leaned back to full-sizes cuz I like me 17 rounds and some thiccumz grips that fill my babby hands.

As for the rabble on /k/, I assume it's similar to every other "thing popular/local anon HATES it" bit. They saw that micro compacts weren't cream on gold with a free blowjob, and bashed 'em. Happens with every trend, let alone every guntuber/Instagunner trend.

I don't hate it, I'm just disappointed. Firstly, it's nothing more than another uninspired, polymer striker-fired 9mm that doesn't have a paddle mag release option. Secondly, I heard a lot of people hyping it up saying that the grip is thin, but manages to fill up the hand like a larger gun. After waiting and waiting, I finally found one and held it, and it feels like every other skinny micro 9. The P2000sk is still the best subcompact 9mm that H&K has built.

I'm (HK owner) with this anon. P2000SK is still a great pistol.
for a similar modern subcompact 9 mm to the CC9 would just go with the Shield Plus

I just generally don;t have much time for semi auti handguns, I can see a use for 44 mag revolvers, but beyond that why the fuck would you want one in your home instead of a shotgun. Handguns are militarily useless. It's like some practical joke played on the US public to sell junk. Now they are sticking ridiculous red dots on them when if they bahve any use at all their are point weapons like shotguns. Fucking gonsumer toy bullshit and that's fine as long as anons know that's what it is.

Genuine question, were you dropped on your head as a child?
>>
>>64973684
>handguns are militarily useless
Yeah, but you're not mil are ya?
>inb4 muh lisha minuteman drivel
You aren't fighting tyranny with your PSA trash rifle, Taurus garbage magnum, and zero training, bud.
>why the fuck would you want one in your home instead of a shotgun
Spoken like a true fudd that doesn't step the fuck outside for work anymore. Stick to feeling like John Wayne while C zoning at 11 yards single-action slow fire, grandpa.

>Handguns are militarily useless.
because militaries are engaging each other at distances that handguns are subpar in. Civilians, on the other hand, will generally not engage someone past 60-80 yards in their entire lifetime, so handguns are good for them to defend themselves with.
