It could definetly see some use in urban combat when dealing with enemies inside buildings. Would also completely wreck light vehicles.However it seems very niche and you would have to justify using one instead of just having another guy flying FPV drones into enemies.

>>64974893Nah. It would be a big clunky POS, yet paradoxically not punch enough to be worthwhile, considering it would be fighting for relevance over weapons like the Carl G and 40mm grenades. Theres a case to be made for some kind of GL (though as evidenced by the XM25, for it to have enough payload you still want it to be bigger than 20mm) with airburst capability, but a cannon? No, it isn't penning armor that wouldn't be better defeated by a MAAWS, and it wouldnt carry enough boom to damage structures or infantry better than 40mm. You gotta remember why autocannons are good on vehicles, theyre a stable platform with cooled optics and vast stocks of ammo; and infantry equivalent would have none of that.
