Would this work?
>gets a little bit windy
>>64976341No, it would be much more effective to have laser point defenses a mile or two off to shoot down the drowns. Or if that is too expensive, a normal gun that can do that.
>>64976341no, umbrella won't stop an explosioncould be used as antithermal though
I don't get why everyone is so obsessed with drones. If drones are targeting you or your position then you've already made a long series of very serious mistakes. I'm vastly more concerned about moose and psychopathic small town police officers than drones. If drones are attacking you I hope they win because you're probably fighting for Israel if you're in that situation.
>>64976370>I'm vastly more concerned about moose and psychopathic small town police officers than dronesPic relatedThis thread is obviously talking about drones in war, not your daily life.
>>64976361It won't be wonderful protection but if the explosion is at 2 meters or so standoff and behind something tough it might make the difference between a KIA and a casualty
>>64976341Sure, it would just be heavy as fuck and ineffective against a shaped charge.
>>64976341I have seen dumber ideas.
>>64976470Why the fuck is a drone with a shaped charge targeting INFANTRY?
>>64976478Drone fails to find a vehicle so chooses the next worthwhile target? Idk
>>64976478When I was veing trained to service bushmaster chain guns my instructor was a "butcher of Baghdad" and bragged about shooting unarmored infantry targets with depleted uranium roundsSometimes you just want to do a little funny and have a good time with the boys
>>64976384If your daily life is war then you've fucked up really bad.
>>64976341Just get bigger nets for more standoff distance, it might help against the small drones.Won't help against the recon drone identifying you as a target for arty. Or the napalm drones. Or drones with bigger bombs.
