Up until recently they had a lot of old Soviet equipment mixed in with NATO equipment, but they've gone through and replaced most of it. They gave away most of their older but still usable stuff to Ukraine if I remember correctly. They have a hodgepodge of NATO and Korean vehicles (who aren't in NATO but are cooperative and make stuff to spec) as well, but with some domestically produced stuff like the Borsuk and the Krab. The 2PLs in your picture are basically just Leopard 2A4s with a better FCS and turret armor package, they're still building them but they've also purchased a lot of Korean K2 tanks and have also received old M1A1 Abrams as well as purchasing new M1A2 SEP V3s. They also had modernized T-72s called the PT-91 but I think they finally pawned all of them off to Ukraine and Malaysia.

Also, investor confidence goes through the roof. Bulgaria's stock market has been on a bull run since January when they adopted the Euro. In the macro, there's also decreased administrative and transactional costs for government and private business. Having a currency not traded globally hurts you a tiny bit every time at the conversion stage.
