Even if the assault weapons ban is overturned, it'll be several years before I get another one. My rational mind is telling me to get an M&P Sport III, but my heart is telling me to get an H&R M16A1. The Sport III would be more practical and way cheaper, but I think I'd be more satisfied in the long run with the M16A1 because of my history autism. What should I do about this conundrum? I have no desire to build my own AR at the moment, but I might get a lower too, just in case I change my mind.
