>J-20 designer Yang Wei was shot dead on the spot, not even sentenced, when the J-20 test flight exploded in front of Xi Jinping after the Iran, Pakistan and Venezuela debacle.

>President Xi was kept in the dark about the actual performance of the J-20 fighter jet, and Xi was under the impression that the J-20 is superior to America's F-22 Raptor in any one-on-one combat, a formal Chinese official currently in exile in Canada tied to the Chinese military industrial complex told Global Defence Corp.

>More humiliating than the actual problem: President Xi found out that the J-20 is still in the developmental aircraft test flight stage. Manufacturers never completed detailed testing of the combat system or flight-testing various performance criteria.

>Xi personally saw a video of the test flight exploding after two minutes. After the female pilot's body was completely obliterated, he ordered a thorough investigation, only to discover that the J-20 encounter multiple engine explosions during the test and have had over 200 incidents.

>The reason for having female pilots do the test flights is that they have smaller bodies and lighter weights. Xi originally thought China's planes were the best in the world, so he dared to challenge the US.

So is this why china has purged all the military command? Fake data and corruption?

A reminder that until 2015 the Chinese couldn't domestically manufacture nibs for ball point pens that were "tolerable, at best". They're still 20 years behind on domestic chip manufacturing, thirty-forty years behind on metallurgy, and produce absolutely no precision instruments used by any serious industrial or scientific concerns anywhere in the world.

A lot of companies that sell the machinery to make high end chips have started re-evaluating who they are selling to and why since COVID exposed how fucked the industry is and how bad it is to sell the machines that make things that everything is dependent on.

You mean the 10+ petabyte supercomputer leak?
>>
>>64992753
The strength of china lies in its cutie pies Xi understands this.
>>
>>64993362
Yes, I am familiar with ASML and what's going on in the semiconductor industry. China is not (quite) as far behind as you think although they're not even close to the powerhouse the chinkshills want you to believe. They're currently about 12 years behind in making chips and about 15 years behind in making machines to make chips. They're currently a bit player in the semiconductor industry, most of what they make is DRAM and they make very little of it compared to Taiwan, the US, or Korea. However, if they can sustain their current rate of growth (which is a big if) they could potentially be a disruptive force in the market in as little as 10 years.
>>
>>64993398
This is largely true for most industries that China is in that requires a certain degree of technical sophistication. My worry is that they have renewables by the balls, and cheap solar panels are what's needed by most of the 3rd world not to die in the new normal hate waves starting to hit more and more frequently. That's their long term plan if you read what the Chinese write and it's why they use so much coal.
>>
>>64993398
Oh well then, I think we know the same things then. That being said most high end chip fab is weirdly dependent on machinery from countries outside of where the chips are fabricated for the most part. America is going nuts, but who the fuck knows how this will end. Chip fab in Arizona just feels wrong. But a lot of manufacturers are aware that they are ultimately screwing themselves by selling the high-end shit to China even though China did the same shit to the auto industry for years, maybe decades.
>>
>>64993408
>Hate waves

I meant heat waves but I actually do a shit ton of research on dalits and this is also true, somewhere in the third world there has always been a dalit equivalent group killing minorities with sticks at all times.
>>
>>64993343
It's seemingly true (though some of the reporting is likely just rumor).

What seems to be real is Yang Wei was removed from his post and has been scrubbed from all official records.
There are reports the J-20 is facing several major issues, reports that the RAM coatings were tested in humid conditions or high-G conditions and it's peeling
There are reports that the J-20's SiC radar and PL-15/16 missiles aren't currently talking together correctly especially under congested EW environments.
There are reports the J-20 IWB doors are getting stuck open at supersonic speeds, and or vibrate.

Finally there are reports the WS-15 engine is only capable of ~400-600 hours before major overhauls with a total engine life of ~1500-2500 hours.

Meanwhile western jet engines do 1000-2000 hours before major overhauls and 6000-8000+ hours total engine life.

>>
>>64993413
I have no idea what you're even talking about. The US is in roughly the same position it's been in with regard to foundries for a decade, and Intel has had fabs in Arizona for half a century. No manufacturers are selling high end shit to China because of US export controls, which even foreign companies like ASML have to adhere to in order to do business in the US.

>>
>>64993413
>That being said most high end chip fab is weirdly dependent on machinery from countries outside of where the chips are fabricated for the most part.
from a US perspective the only semiconductor equipment that's irreplaceable is ASML's EUV tools
all the other parts of the process can be done by multiple competing companies, most of which are based in the US (LAM, AMAT) or Japan (TEL, Hitachi). ASML also dominates non-EUV lithography but their competitors are also Japanese (Canon and Nikon)

>>
>>64994455
You can get disappeared for 3 reasons, in decreasing order of importance:

1. you pissed off the party by acting up (politically)
2. you pissed off someone more important than you
3. you were incompetent/corrupt (this only matters if 1 or 2 happened, usually because you caused embarrassment/loss of face)

Jack Ma was only guilty of 1. Yang Wei was guilty of 2 and 3.
>>
>>64993608
It is, which is why it's only of mild concern.

10-20 years ago, chinkshills were claiming they were 10 years behind on things they were 30 years behind on, which was a lie. Any bad news has barely time to leak before it's scrubbed competely. Like how many have heard of the tunnel flooding a couple of years ago. That drowned at least a couple of thousand changs trapped in their vehicles. As they had less than five minutes to escape a miles long tunnel that was rapidly filling up to the ceiling

Finally, the average target audience ain't particularly bright too, so it is very easy to fool them by dangling shiny things in front of their face. Like doctored pics of "new" solar panel fields (that ain't connected to anything). Same pyotemkins village extends into everything, including military. The j20 alone is reported to have the RCS of an f-18 by patrol craft that actually observed it in the skies

Surely Russia can build functional jet engines but I also can't imagine they're anything but state-of-the-art inferior ones that were already being made in 1979

Yeah, but the CCP remains and will just rebuild. It is only there to ensure no rival factions during his rule. The Xi faction will just elect someone else.

In contrast, Russia United is barely a thing, and it's just an excuse for Putin-bots to have some semblance of an appearance of a democracy. There's no successor and Russia United isn't as coherent as the CCP.

Commie parties last forever unless something external or internal destroys them.

Iran's military looks the way it does because of the circumstances that shaped it, poor funding, tons of sanctions, limited manufacturing capability. None of that affects China.

I'm not surprised actually.
I did some cluster computing in my postgrad program, you can be uploading huge data-sets and then downloading huge result-sets, I doubt the IT staff bother checking up on it or, since the clients are either big corporations, state universities, or the army, they wouldn't be able to do shit about it anyway.

Kalashnikov's work can be seen in the AK-46 prototype. The final AK design was largely the contribution of Aleksandr Zaitsev from Kalashnikov's team.

Might want to sit on that idea for a long time until you've got nothing left to do.
From what I've heard from people who've gone, it's neat for like ten minutes, but then you're stuck for like two hours watching the same thing be rehashed with minor differences or something like that.
Not sure how valid that criticism is though, never been myself.

Lol based. Part of me hopes the reason it's not working is because they just copied the American plane schematics and there's some wrong on purpose to fuck people up exactly like this.
RIP to the Chinese cuties that died trying it out though.

The CCP won't elect shit, when old m8 xingers carks it there will be an internal power struggle and the strongest surviving warlord will assume the throne before retroactively framimg his ascension as a legal bureaucratic process and killing/arresting anyone who disagrees or speaks out

Not really. Even there it's still gone. Neither the CCP or the Kuomintang liked the old China. Nobody except for a a few nobles really did.

No they didn't. Their jet engine are just copy of Rolls Royce that Labour party gave them for free. Their rocket was built by German slave-scientist.

Maybe if you're looking at a late model J79 sure. F100/F110s and newer have hours.
