Supersonic stealth jets loaded with enough computing power to respond to dynamic environmental conditions and threats far fastsr and more precisely than a human ever could. Absolutely nothing about that is cheap, especially when you're trying to do a 1:1 replacement for jets. Constantly applying a price standard to drones just sets an arbitrary limit on what roles they can fill, which is retard-tier thinking

Unlike aircraft, you can't realistically outrun anything underwater, you're dead the moment you're detected and something is fired at you. An entire leg of the nuclear triad being rendered obsolete seems like something that would shake things up a lot.What's stopping people from mass producing UUVs to ping everywhere willy nilly and perform suicide runs against enemy subs once they locate them? You can't retaliate without giving away your own position and making their job even easier.Obviously things like range and underwater comms are still limitations, but with how things are going with drones, they're only gonna get better.
