Army HPSP here, happy to answer questions about what its like getting medical school through the military. Dental and vet are pretty much the same.

I can also interpret medical DQ concerns. Give me a day or two to respond, likely.
>branch, condition, meds, etcetera.
I cannot answer questions about how deep genesis goes, MEPS doctors, etc. I ain't a MEPS doctor.
>>
>>64996304
Yo HPSP, I wanted to ask you what your experience with medical professionals from other branches as been like. Do you notice differences at the branch level, or is there a greater degree of standardization in the medical field?
>>
>>64996310
I have worked with doctors in the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and they are all first and foremost doctors. The branch culture is hardly relevant. Medicine is a highly standardized field, as you suspect, and the culture differences are superficial. We do still rag on each-other a little, but it's nowhere near the same as the rest of the military.

Maybe nurses and medics are different, but doctors tend to hate each other much more based on specialty than branch.

I posted here a few months ago asking about OCS for Marines, Navy, and Army. Been working with the Marine OSO for the last few months and the selection board is meeting in a couple weeks. Gunnery sergeant said I'm above average, so I guess that means I have a pretty good chance of getting selected. As a reminder I would like to do intel or something related to my (business) degree like logistics. And I signed for the reserves, if that matters. As far as I know, your desired MOS is not guaranteed and is based on where you rank at TBS. Is the Marine Corps the right branch to join as a reservist officer?

Basically I'm getting my degree in May and would like to work for the state or federal agencies post-graduation. At 23 I also want to leave my wagie job and hometown for a bit and gain some life experience. Is it possible to double-dip as an officer and do federal law enforcement?

Lurk usajobs and linkedin postings for federal agencies/contractors and see what pops up. Really not much else to do if you want a federal job.
For what it's worth I think going active is a far better deal for officers than reserves/Guard unless they already have a sweet civilian side gig but YMMV.

Of course this doesn't mean shit because the recruiter can still talk him into taking jobs he doesn't want while in the DEP.

IMO 5th fleet. You think you know heat? Stand next to a pump with no AC in the middle east. I saw upwards of 130F in some watch stations. We did heat stress surveys daily, and the stay time of some watches was sub 5 minutes. There weren't enough people qualified/it would be impractical to make watches any shorter, so the solution was "You may rove to stand under a vent duct and we'll make nubs bring ice for your water every 30 minutes.". No port calls in 5th fleet, insane heat, getting UNREPS is difficult, and it's hostile waters. I spent 5 months in actual hell and all i got was this CAR.

Been scoring in the 80s on my mock ASVAB, moved states and lost my documents and recruiter is still working his ass off to help me get in. Already had a felony waived, just waiting on documentation.

IBeen using a card game system for pushups for a couple months. My max is like 320~ in two hours, but more recent attempts look like 250 in an hour and a half.

I go for full range of motion, not half pushups or trying to burn through them. I try to vary it up a little, was doing them where anything below five got tacked onto the next card.

Now, I treat them as longer breaks as I wanna try completing a full deck one day. My latest modifier is having 5 and below for diamonds be diamond pushups.

Military service should be compulsory in the US so:
- Everyone can REALLY learn what we (don't really) do. (We're all just glorified janitors, painters, and babysitters).
- Everyone can say they served. this eliminates your routine "thank you for your service" (lol, lmao even) statements because it's neither special nor are you speaking to someone on a different level than you.
- We can get people to fix our infrastructure
- Everyone really learns how guns work, force of continuum rules apply, and the importance of safe handling (TNKK, look beyond target, etc.).
- Everyone can see what entitled shit college brats get away with. (officers deserve even less respect. My hands are still filthy from saluting).
- Everyone walks away with utilizable skillsets.
- Everyone respects our country, its values, and processes a bit more (or less, but then they have the know-how to improve processes).
- The welfare queen narrative dies alongside the benefits that would otherwise go to a select few who enlist.

I think this would be a great way to optimize our forces. Men and women would be forced enlisted by age 25 unless they possess a masters degree in which case they are commissioned.

Army doesn't need a national draft, but our Navy needs impressment

Closure of the strait puts even bigger economic pressure on the rest of the world, so it doesn't actually do much damage the US relative strategic position. What it does to is absolutely demolish republicans chances of winning the midterms.
>>
>>65006554
So getting in line with the Navy and Air Force on age, and skipping the waiver process for the automatic waiver
>>
>>65006664
>I mean, in all honesty, the US is fucked anyway this goes, right?
Let's break this down:

>Conflict in Ukraine and earlier support for Israel has sapped US interceptor and materials. Any prolonged engagement favors Iran as closure of strait puts huge economic pressure on US.
Yes, support for Ukraine and Israel has drawn down some high-end munitions (like interceptors), and systems like THAAD are limited in number. But the U.S. defense posture is designed around theater prioritization + surge capacity + allied burden-sharing, not static allocation. Production lines (especially for air defense and artillery) have already been expanding, albeit slower than ideal.
>China moving in south Pacific virtually unimposed. Major assets, even THAAD systems in south Korea, have been moved to Middle Eastern theater. Japan says aggression against Taiwan would be an existential threat for Japan and hints that they could respond to Chinese invasion as "self-defense" but Japan is extremely dependent on foreign energy imports along routes in the South China sea that could easily be cut off.
If Strait of Hormuz is disrupted, it’s a global shock, not just a U.S. one. It hits Asia (especially China, India, Japan) even harder because they rely more heavily on Gulf energy flows. Iran can threaten closure, but sustaining it invites overwhelming multinational naval response. It’s a powerful lever, but not an easy or cost-free one to pull for Iran.
>Without foreign imports, Japan could be in Cuban levels of rolling blackouts within weeks, not months.
Japan is energy-import dependent, and sea lane disruption would hurt quickly. But it’s been actively restarting parts of its nuclear fleet, stockpiling fuel reserves, expanding security cooperation with the U.S. and regional partners so “weeks to blackout” is probably too severe unless you assume a total, sustained maritime cutoff (which would itself be a major global war scenario, not a side effect.)

[1/2]
>>
>>65006785
>As more US forces are drawn out of the Pacific and into the Middle East, China has more of a stranglehold on the entire region.
China has absolutely been expanding influence in the South Pacific, but the U.S. isn’t absent, rather it’s relying more on alliances and distributed presence such as from Japan, Australia, the Philippines, and others are doing more than they were a decade ago. The U.S. doesn’t need to physically move every asset back to maintain deterrence; it leans on networked capabilities.
>None of this shapes up as even halfway optimistic for further US involvement and it leaves less and less support for an already dying Ukraine which would free up more Russian assets for Tehran.
Even if support to Ukraine fluctuates, it doesn’t directly translate into Russia being able to massively pivot forces to help Iran. Geography, logistics, and Russia’s own constraints still matter. Russia is stretched in ways that limit how much it can project elsewhere thanks to monke's autism.

TL;DR: we can pretend there's no buffers, but we deal in reality, not hypothetical outcomes based on fear. Also this is /meg/. Go back to >>>/pol/

Japan could single handedly defeat China just because their Navy is that much better, but right now the US is struggling just to keep the lights on at home and it's starting to affect the military manufacturing and morale.
>>
>>65008162
Yeah, maybe in the year 1926, but this is the year 2026 and Japan's navy is miniscule while the US Navy is leagues ahead of its rivals. Its current deficiency stems from undermanning, but a fully manned US Navy would absolutely dominate the seven seas with zero room for contrarianism

Bad runner here. I've taken to running at least three times a week for around half an hour. I've noted some improvements, as has my recruiter, but tomorrow hes going to put us through "His" paces. He likes to train for marathons, so this means running/jogging to the local park from the recruiting station, doing the two mile there, exercising, and returning. While I can meet his standards for the push-ups, sit-ups, deadlifts, I still struggle with running. Whenever we run to the park, I'm always the last one and always stuck at a walk. Its humiliating. I worry that its going to be the same result tomorrow afternoon. Any suggestions on just, keep running? I feel this strange pain in my calf radiating down to the back of my heel after around ten or fifteen minutes of continuous running and it forces me to stop.

I don't have much advice for you, I also suck at running. I would recommend NOT asking the running general on /fit/, those guys are mentally ill.

Is it the pain that keeps you from running further/longer or do you get winded? If it's pain, then you should look into physical therapy techniques for your calf muscles. Your gastroc and soleus could be too weak or too tight, by the sound of it.

Working on getting documentation and eager to start my packet. Already got clearance for a felony waiver, been working out for the last few years but now it's 5-6 days a week.

Thoughts on Israel
>>
How this country is worth fighting for, I don't know.
>>
>>65010807
Not a fan. I despise Muslims for the most part, so I have no problem with Israel blowing them up and doing whatever it is they're doing with Palestine, actually it's often quite entertaining. But I have a massive problem with their control of our politicians, the origin of which I don't think I'll ever figure out. I don't even mind giving them their free $3.8 billion every year (roast me all you want, I don't give a fuck), I think it's a good investment in a solid ally in the Middle East. It's the way our politicians consistently bend over backwards for them that confuses and upsets me. I'm glad to see normies finally waking up to it.
As an extension of that, I think it's cool we're finally blowing up Iran (though I wish we had a long-term plan in place before starting), but, sadly, I assume we're only doing it because Israel told us to.
>>
>>65010212
Serving would be an honor, and I might be the third consecutive generation in my family to fight in the middle east.

This is, broadly speaking, the military-wide opinion.
My spin on it is that Iran has no problem commiting acts of evil internationally just like Israel. Iran has no qualms fucking the US up just because and we need to fuck them up regardless so they will (atleast) temporarily stop their aggression.
>>
>>65011120
>This is, broadly speaking, the military-wide opinion.
The military-wide opinion is one that's inherently self-contradictory and incoherent? Makes sense lmao
>>
>>65011057
Better question to ask is WHY anybody would bother posting about politics here when there is an entire board dedicated to that topic. Robert is the only person who keeps coming here, even though he also goes to /pol/
>>
>>65011146
War is politics by other means.
>>
>>65011153
So then talk about war, not politics unrelated to it. You have years of bans and thousands of deleted posts that you can reference for what does not belong here. Your subversive attempts to voice your personal hatred towards your own country and those that serve it have accomplished nothing except hastening your spiral towards complete mental breakdown.
>>
>>65011160
Are you under the impression that the US military serves the people of the United States and not the Epstein Empire?
>>
>>65011175
See what I'm talking about? Nobody here wants to talk to you about Epstein. There are thousands of people on /pol/ who can talk to about Epstein, but you choose to come here instead. Go to the bar to get a beer; don't go to church and get upset they only have wine.
>>
>>65011260
If Robert stops posting here, he'll stop getting called out for his 5th columnist behavior. Why don't you try convincing a guy who's oppositional defiance disorder compels him to post here every hour to leave after poorly investing a decade of his life?
>>
>>65011305
>You: *sobbing* They told me to go back to /pol/. FUCK YOU DAD GO BACK TO DISCORD.
Shhh Robert. Adults are speaking.
>>
>>65011305
Not pointing Robert out is simply not an option. His dream is to be able to post here and pretend to be multiple people, fomenting a false sense of community and majority for an opinion that is only shared by one, singular individual with a backstory that makes him a living joke. He HATES being reminded of this fact, and ignoring him had zero effect. Trust me, I came back from a deployment that was just short of a year and he was still doing the same bullshit.

There is only one solution to the Robert problem and that is to compel him to walk the walk. As long as he keeps coming here, I will keep fucking with him and torquing him up for fun. Convince him to leave this place if you want any different outcome than the status quo remaining unchanged until 4chan shuts down for good.

Thats how you know its all just a cry for attention. As long as people are talking about big fat Robert, he is happy. I've seen him spiral when he gets ignored, to the point of posting pictures of dead soldiers and making violent threats that resulted in visits from local law enforcement. He will do and say ANYTHING for attention, and that is how you know his message doesn't even resonate with him.

Because you literally just want to talk about muh jooz and rant about how the Army rightfully told you to fuck off but was totally fine with people that don't look like you serving honorably. You aren't here to "talk" about a draft, but fearmonger about the same shit you did last year when nothing happened. You want to make an organization you have zero experience working for look worse than anybody who actually has been in it ever could with any honesty

tl;dr your motivations are petty and childish, and you are constantly throwing temper tantrums because you don't get to larp and lie about shit you know nothing about

Also, if you read this, you are gay

You didn't get to kill women and children in Afghanistan and now the whole internet has to hear your complaining. If you want blood on your hands so badly, go serve in the "manly Russian military" where you will get the opportunity to execute your battle buddies after they get droned.
>>
>>65011647

I do honestly think current numbers are enough, especially with more and more drones. Even while the military freaks out about peer threats in LSCO we still have the air superiority, the comms superiority, the superior mission command structure. We don't need the drastic drop in morale across every formation that comes with giving fat pussies guns on the front line.
>>
>>65012246
When you see a can on the road, do you walk by it or do you kick it? It's going to keep rusting away on the dirty road either way. Robert will never take himself out of the picture, and I clearly get under his skin, so why should I stop?

If you want him gone, give it a shot. I promise I won't ever bring the fucker up again if he actually stops coming here. Keep in mind that if he's bring discussed, it's either him attention-seeking or me calling him out. Nobody else here talks to him or about him with any seriousness.

Bad Runner here.
I lived.
Recruiter took us on a two mile run to the park nearby. We did four corners. 13 T-Push-ups, 13-Sit-Ups, 15 Reverse Lunges, 14 Squats. Ran around the park itself to gauge our time - I clocked in at 20:23. Last time we did this, I was 32:10.
I'm still sweating, but he pat me on the back and said good job.
I feel good.

>>65012449

>>
>>65012461
shit dude, I definitely suspect those shoes are having a negative impact on your running form and capabilities. If you can scrounge together 30 or 40 bucks, I know you can get some decent new pair of shoes over at Ross or Marshalls or another outlet store.
>>
>>65012470
We don't have a Ross or Marshalls, we have a JCPenneys two and a half miles up the road where I live. I used to work there, maybe they'll give me my old discount. Fry's used to give me my old 35%, before they... Uh, killed themselves.
>>
>>65012479

Is Green-To-Gold better than finishing your contract and trying to commission from the outside?

Only if you can do it in less time than it would take to get your degree AND you intend to do more than the bare minimum ADSO.
>>
>>65019183
I'm 25 now with an AS, I'm going to basic in July. Am I thinking way too far ahead?
My contract is 5 years and the cut off age to commission active duty for the army is 31.
I'm thinking G2G is my only real option to commission since I might just turn 32 by the time I get my BA otherwise.
From what I heard commissioning could take longer than a year anyway (and there are a lot of ways they can reject you?).
Feeling a little FOMO because there is a possibility I might not deploy even once and/or make E5 in the case of going G2G.
>>
>>65018953
Aw. I wanted to finish this. =(
>>
>>65019228
Age waivers exist (don't plan around it though, 5 years from now who tf knows how liberal they'll hand them out) and you could always commission in a different branch (everyone besides Marines isn't as strict, except pilot slots)
OCS can take awhile to get into, it can take 3-4 years to get into Air Force OTS, Navy is cancelling boards left and right, etc. You're looking for 5% to 40% chances to get in per application depending on the year, it's been really low this year across all branches, last year it was high besides the Air Force. Enlisted people have more trouble since they need to show leadership potential and a really clean record with good recommendations and character references, civilian to O is easier than E to O.
I'm not familiar with the Green to Gold in the Army, if that's a good option then do it if you want to be an officer. I'm not sure why you enlisted if you wanted to go O? Pretty strongly recommended against. Why not try switching to a reserves contract and do ROTC in college?
>>
>>65019255
I went enlisted instead because I felt like I was running out of time and really need to escape waging. Living is expensive as fuck right now and reserves isn't an option for me. By going reserves I'd be choosing to go homeless basically. COVID also stopped me from enlisting earlier because I didnt want the jab and didn't want to deal with all the other bullshit they were putting recruits through at that time.
I hated college/uni because COVID too and stopped going shortly after I got my degree.
The cost is too great (even with pell grant) for the bullshit they were teaching me and I don't want the boring poor life I have for 2 more years while I get my degree.
Also I really just want a taste of the enlisted life style/suckage. Pretty happy with my job selection (couldn't get 35T in reserves anyway), don't really care where I end up, just want to move forward in life and away from my bumass state where none of my relatives live anymore.

is this the kind of shit people in the military actually watch? What is this niggerbabble brain rot? Like 15 minutes of retard ADHD commentary on a 5 second interview clip? What am i even viewing?

>I think it's a good investment in a solid ally in the Middle East
Jews do nothing but damage American power, which is based on its white population whom they despise, and Israel is just a tax haven for jews and a place they can run off to without any chance of extradition like Crazy Eddie back in the 90s.

how difficult is it to be part of an aircrew in the navy?
>>
>>65023545
Enlisted Aircrew? I couldn't tell you much besides passing a flight physical. Color blindness, respiratory issues and mental health history is what's going to give you problems. If you're looking to commission you'll have to pass a flight physical too, but for higher standards (class one) and your biggest "stat" for selection will be your ASTB. If you score high enough to qualify for immediate selection they'll take you right away.

If you mean by being part of an aircrew in the fleet, I couldn't tell you much since I'm still in primary, but generally you'll be expected to know your systems in and out, while also being humble, receptive to feedback/criticism, while also confident in your own abilities and are able to assert yourself when needed (like say a ranking officer is improperly executing a procedure).

Alright I enlisted and I ship out in 3 and a half weeks. What do I bring? I'm going to Benning.
>>
>>65024601
Debit card, bank info, change of clothes, basic toiletries, whatever else your recruiter says. You'll use this stuff at the MEPS hotel and then maybe a few hours after reaching 30th AG at Benning, then you should get access to it again on family day.
>>

That doesn't sound like training to me.

How does my AFOQT look for OTS?
>>
>>65012262
Sounds like you were given a shitty hand growing up (or played some shitty cards yourself) and had to take like 15 extra years to learn the ropes. I guess you decided to join the military as a last resort.
My advice? Don't let the lie of wasted years eat you. Use it to become a beacon of hope for those who are older and have nothing to show for it besides years of gooning. Show the hopeless that there is hope.
>>
>>65024601
As little as possible. I was recommended to bring things like soap, shampoo etc but the first thing they did at reception was to have us dump everything in the amnesty box because that's considered contraband. So basically just a toothbrush and whatever clothes you're wearing and your credit/debit card. All the basic shit you need you can buy at the PX. I was over at harmony church in benning so we only had a tiny little shoppette we sometimes got to use. But they'll take you there to buy shower soap and shampoo once you're done with reception. Enjoy the shark attack anon.
>>
>>65012262
Yeah i joined at 28, has its perks because leadership typically respected me because i wasn't a dumbass kid. Only thing that sucked was that i got an injury that was an MOS disqualifier so even after i passed the board i couldn't make 5 so i was stuck in corporal hell.
>>
>>65026228
>shark attack
WAIT, THAT RETURNED???????
I had a buddy of mine that joined two weeks before I did. He got the shark attack, but I got the gay ass first 100.
I will never not be pissed off about that.

Im 40

What army MOS do you all recommend? Should I go army?

I think I am pretty fit for my age
>>
do they even ask if youre vaxxed for covid
>>
>>64996304
think there might be any problems getting into the USAF if you're missing a nut?
non-cancerous removal, verified with paperwork.
>>
>>65026940
At 40, there isn't much reason not to go Army unless you are extremely fond of another branch.
In no particular order, research these jobs in google as they appeal to you:
>combat arms
18X, 11B, 12B, 13F, 14E, 19D, 19K, 68W
>support (provisionally infantry when necessary)
12M, 12T, 12Y, 15R, 15T, 15U, 15W, 15Y, 27D, 29E, 31B, 36B, 37F, 38B, 42A, 42R, 46S, 88M, 89A, 89B, 89D, 91A, 91M, 91P, 91S, 92Y, 94S, 94T
>signals + intel
17C, 25B, 25M, 25N, 25S, 25U, 25V, 35F, 35G, 35L, 35M, 35N, 35P, 35Q, 35S, 35T,
>medical
Not listing them all here. They're doctors basically.
>other
56M, 74D, 88H, 88K, 88L,
If you don't want any of those jobs, there are more but this should highlight more commonly desired jobs.
>>
>>65027228
No.
>>65027305
Just don't lie about it. MEPS will check.
>>
>>65027385
What a lame list. I recommend most 94 series maintainers or 68A. Comfy smart guy repairman is what you should be doing at 40.

Oh my bad, haha I should have just made my answer based off of your personal thoughts and opinions nevermind that the reply function for his post still works or something.
>>
>>65027445
You listed medical as all doctors basically when he'd only be getting into medical as one of the technician roles or as a medic anyway. That's lame.

You put 42A and 94S in the same bucket with this (provisionally infantry) tag when you've got a massive problem if either of those guys are using their rifles in combat. That's lame.

You didn't even list the superior supply MOS 92A. That's lame.

Signal could be legit but you included the humint MOS with that? Pretty lame.

I'm interested in knowing where you got this list as "more commonly desired jobs".

88H seems pretty cool
loading up logi for the boys
>>
>>65027460
Being a log dog is cool and satisfying but it can get incredibly physically draining if you're doing real operational support. Transport corps are the unsung heroes of every war, though. Never let them trick you into becoming 88M.

The dude that used to keep bumping these threads finally took the hint after getting jannied and banned on the daily
>>
>>65030085
Who's that?
>>
>>65030091
Some guy who has a weird obsession with keeping this thread bumped even though he says it should be banned from this board. Had zero intention of joining the military, hated everyone in this thread, and seemed to be absolutely miserable. Really hoping he found a better outlet with people he actually got along with.
>>
>>65030020
Nope, I'm shipping in July. There are only so many questions one could ask I've basically asked them all already.
>>
>>65030106

Bad runner here. Ship out date is approaching and I'm getting. Really nervous. Kinda worried I might do something stupid.
>>
>>65030405
You'll be fine. Running ability responds best to volume and guess what you'll be doing in basic, hella volume. The drills will also move heaven and earth to get you to be able to pass, even if it means smoking you 24/7.
>>
>>65030634
I walk to work, and have been every day. Five miles going, five miles coming back. Last two days I've been timing it. An hour and twenty minutes. Since I'm off tomorrow, I'm gonna run it, and see how short I can pull it.
My main issue is mental. I'm an anxious person and I'm worried I'll either psyche myself out, or they'll find I'm too soft for the army.
>>
>>65031213
Chill, dude. It's basic training, not SFAS. "Too soft for the army" is like... if you feel offended by the idea of exercising, or something. People show up to BCT unable to do a single pushup or run one mile without stopping, and they graduate. You're head and shoulders above such people.
>>
>>65031213
One does not simply run 5 miles straight for the first time ever on their way to work.
Unless you want shin splints.
10 miles of running in one day is like, half marathon training levels of running.
You're way overthinking this.
>>
>>65031465
I just mean more of... Look, I'ma be honest. I'm thirty, the whole family lives at home because the economy is shit, and I've never actually left home before. Pitiful, yeah, but I need to do this to support them, and to give myself the kick I need to get my damn life started. The money will be great, and I can use it to help more than what I'm being paid now.
But I know my limits and I'm just. Afraid, y'know? A big life change, in two short weeks.
>>65031478
I think I am over thinking this, by a lot. I'm going to go and go to bed.
@_@
>>
>>65031213
>>65031495
24 hours after you get off the bus, you will be too tired and annoyed to be nervous.
>>
>>65031504
The last time I went to MEPs and stayed at that hotel, the zoomers asked if I lost a bet and wouldn't shut up. I interact with them enough at work, but my God. Ever seen two teams of ghetto zoomers argue and nearly fight over a pool match? ridiculous.
>>
>>65031510
The guy they roomed me with got pissy at me for stretching and not hitting the gym the night before MEPS and he ended up failing on the duckwalk because he was too stiff from working out for 4 hours.
More annoyingly some giga-autist latched to me and kept saying edgy shit and tried to convince me all day to go to the marines instead of the navy, despite me being too old for the marines and telling him multiple times I'm commissioning and to shut the fuck up
>>
>>65032091
Lel
The guy I got roomed with hit on one of the females also going to MEPS and they ended up fucking. They did not go to MEPS.
>>
>>64996201
I heard there's a moment of truth in reception.
Would they care if I was stopped by the police on Halloween because I was walking home drunk from the bar, or rather dancing home drunk from the bar, and managed to convince the officer to dance with me? I didn't get a ticket just sorta danced and they let me go.

It's been five years... remember what they took from you.

If we’re talking about Robby Boy, he probably just got range-banned or something. He’ll find another work around, and he’ll be back. He’s been known to drive to McDonald’s and shit so that he use the Wi-Fi to shit post on here.

He’s been doing this for 6-8 years. I highly doubt he’ll just stop unless he finally took a bath with the forbidden bath bomb.

Man you guys' MEPS stories are cool. I got the most boring bog standard experience ever.
The dumbest thing that happened was we were all staring at a harry potter DVD start screen for an hour at the end of the day, until one of the staff finally walked in and told us where the DVD remote and stack of DVDs was, then we finally watched Creed.

>>65031510
>the whole family lives at home because the economy is shit

It's a good mark of character that you aren't blaming your family for being lazy and it's pretty cool that you're stepping up for them.
>>65031510
The average age in the military is 22-29. Bound to be some stragglers out there.
>>
>>65032965
My elder sister has her family with us. Munchgins and all. Only thing I'd wish she would do is clean up and stop wasting her paycheck on starbucks and take out. But that's all.
We did have one dude there that was older than me. Thirty eight. Reenlisting for the third time I think. Dude looked like a Tolkein Dwarf, buff and short. Coolest fella there.
