Did you go to /k/ meetups? Do you shoot guns in the woods with your friends?
A bunch or terminally onlines flagging me? Is this the last step a tranny makes before they fully commit to the rope?
>>65003192I feel like you can't trust any of these people.
>>65003192Never been to a /k/ meetup but I go shooting with a group of mates at lest once every few months. One of the guys has a hunting cabin out in the woods so we can be an autistic as we want without any RSOs or karens freaking out.
>>65003236You can't. It's great. Most /k/ommandos have a secret (or perhaps not so secret) desire to kill someone. They want to test their weapons and their own mettle. Ideally, they want to kill someone who could kill them back. Someone armed and dangerous. Now imagine bringing a bunch people who think like that together and asking them to bring their weapons. They're all awkward at first, but watch how the mood changes once the ice is broken. They all start getting notions. The main character syndrome sets in.>I wonder how many of these guys I could get before they took me down?>Look at that guy with the armor and the gucci AR. Bet I could put him down with my Mosin.>I bet I could bayonet at least 3 of these guys before they realized what was happening.Of course nothing happens. It's not worth going to prison over and some of these faggots are alright. But the idea remains and you'll notice that most of the attendees don't sleep for too long if it's an overnight thing. Wouldn't want to catch a knife in the neck.
>>65003192No, I don’t go to meetups. Yes, I shoot in the woods with my friends. I will never go to meetups where cum brownies are a tradition.
>>65003192met my bf at a /k/ meetup and he lets me suck his dick whenever i want :)
>>65003192Look at all those fat dysgenic idiots and you tell me? Would you want to hang out with a bunch of dysfunctional lunatics flagging you with their loaded guns, fingers on the trigger, the whole time you're there? Hell no. No one but absolute retards and fags wanting to be anything other than anonymous went to those things.
>>65003192For me it’s the barefoot dude unfolding the bayonet
I don’t know anyone who owns woods to shoot on or have any public land for it in my state, but I do sometimes take friends to the indoor range I’m a member of. Old /k/ is dead and meetups aren’t really a thing now
>>65003192>Did you go to /k/ meetups? In the past they were great once in awhile. You then identified the actual cool folks and then had private meets thereafter with new people coming in as guests/recommendations not via public /k/ anymore, and the dipshits not invited back.Unfortunately /k/, and the internet and the world have changed. It's probably hopeless to try to grasp hold to the old era, like sand through the fingers.>Do you shoot guns in the woods with your friends?Yes, though not as frequently as we've all gotten jobs and families and responsibilities. But last year was kinda good in terms of more people recognizing "oh shit the years are going by, we have to actually work to make time for ourselves". It's kinda pernicious as a mental trap, when you think>"oh we could go do that any time"somehow "any time" never quite arrives and all of a sudden it's been ages. Getting out there and keeping up with friends requires ongoing effort.
>>65003192Yes but now we have to submit DNA tests and all the food is inspected is tested before
I think anyone here who goes “I wouldn’t go cus ‘x’ or ‘y” is a pussy tourist. So many guys met lifetime friends at meets
>>65004315>is a pussy touristor some doomer zoomer, or a noguns turdie who gets furious at the idea of actual americans actually enjoying their actual guns, or a glowie demoooralizer. unfortunately many possibilities.
I once met /k/bros in Ohio. Went shooting many times. They were great dudes and I often think about the good times we had.
>>65003192Gasmask guy is holding his anime pillow protectively while the guy in the yellow mask is thinking how to best violate such pillow tonight while he sleeps.
>meetupsnah nearly all of you are insufferable. The number of people I've had pleasant firearm discussions with in person can be counted on two hands.
>>65003192>Did you go to /k/ meetups? Do you shoot guns in the woods with your friends?>that imageHonestly one of the things that strikes me most looking back at pictures of that era is how we all made do and had a good time with such relatively low budgets and limited stuff. Accessories were minimal to zero, nobody thought anything of absolute poverty funs, some people have fun milsurp here and there but lots are just in regular old clothes.
>>65004902Was at the Texas meet last weekend, there's still a great number of poverty funs and fucking around with weird old guns. The main difference is that the number of guns present is larger and most people are older on average. Thankfully tactifaggotry has not driven off cheap guns for cheap fun, conversely there wasn't a strong push against tactical shit so it was a pretty diverse set of guns and setups available. Hell you know a gun meet is good when there's more than 1 freakshow gun meant to be as retarded as possible
>>65003192>Did you go to /k/ meetups? When possible and I know the group or at least a good chunk of who's gonna be there, yes>Do you shoot guns in the woods with your friends?Mostly with family, I don't have many friends outside of /k/ and it's related servers. I have taken two girls out to the woods to shoot guns, however which turned out awful but better than expected
>>65004927Wasn’t that meetup full of people dumping bullets into a fire?
>>65004927I'm in completely the wrong part of the country to go to one of those but sounds like a great time for sure.>>65005839>Wasn’t that meetup full of people dumping bullets into a fire? Why would anyone care if you did? Well, if they were lead bullets and it was park land or something that'd be pretty shitty but not like it's dangerous beyond that.
I literally got fucked in the ass and I’m not even gay at the one in North Carolina a decade or so ago.
>>65003192>DidI still do, buddy. We just don't advertise them here anymore, its all organized on Discord these days.
Yeah, first one was about 12 years ago then I didn't go to another one until 2020 with a totally different group of /k/tards. Been meeting that same group a few times every year since. We'll shoot, go to museums or airshows and one another's homes to hang. It's pretty sweet. Naturally we're all old breed and fucked off to a discord long ago so the useless bullshit of nu/k/ isn't present and makes it so much more enjoyable.>>65004315Genuinely this.
>>65004888have you ever taken into consideration that you're the common denominator in all these miserable socialization experiences you've had?
>>65006124>>65006546I guess I missed out because I'm old as fuck and was always paranoid of discord, never felt comfortable putting so much of my comms on a corporate site. Have never touched facebook or the like either. Just ended up sticking with IRC and playing with various self-hostable options like Matrix. But ultimately that meant missing out on a lot of activity and I guess I kinda regret it a little, even if it preserved a lot of privacy. I 100% understand why people would pick the convenient option that doesn't require you to spend tons of effort that could be spent elsewhere, younger me was more autistic about that stuff and didn't really get the tradeoffs of losing touch with people who migrated into those spheres. I wish 4chan had gone a different route when it had the chance yet here I still am.
