So i've got a Beretta 92 model 'Stock' (sort of like a factory IPSC gun: better trigger, barrel bushing, heavier slide and frame mounted safety) Looking for wood grips because this looks hot on 92's but can't find any, since the safety is on the frame instead of on the slide. What would you recommend? 1 - Picking up the ol' dremel and cutting up regular 92 wood grips2 - Getting a second pair of plastic grips (https://www.brignoliarmi.com/plastic-grips-small-for-92-combat-11302-en.html) and painting these brown. anyone have any success with option 2? Option 1 I'm pretty sure I'll make fugly. Thanks

>>65007714Not going to fit, regular 92(FS) has the silde mounted safety, on mine it's a frame mounted one

>>65007764Almost... but check the lines. The back of the grips of the newer models is flat instead of curved
>>65007706Dremel woodIf you simply spraypaint the grips its going to rub off and look like shit while getting paint everywhere everytime you hold the gun.
>>65007813Isn't there some stuff / paint that will bond better with the material? I'm guessing regular spray paint comes off.
>>65007706Boil 'em in Rit dye. I think the fatass tripfag Burt did something like this long ago.

>>65008122It's called primerPrime2 or 3 thin coats of color1 coat of matte varnish
>>65008153dye only works if the part you are starting with is a lighter color than what you want. Black grips can't be dyed.
I guess I’ll have to edit existing wood ones (or get a CNC machine and get modelling skills)
