>>65008803Sorry there are no weapon skins or Cardi B character models to buy little Zoomie.
>aim at enemy>shoot >bullets hit everything but the enemybest game ever according to boomers btw
>>65008803It takes a bit of skill and knowhow. And maybe math.
>>65008827dont forget dolphin diving, "ENEMY BOAT SPOTTED" x 1000000 (there is no water on the map) and bunny hopping
>>65008838that was all patched out
>>65008875was just playing karkand and no it's not
>>65008827The best I can do is infinite grenade spamming.
>>65008884Stop yaking and get off this net.
was the PKM the only viable machine gun?
>>65008827https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVCylMVMTiIYou wouldn't get it zoomie.
>>65009044god damn i forgot how cool the topdown commander live feed was
>>65008803Battlefield 1942 with forgotten hope mode was better than battlefield 2. I remember getting a kill by accidentally driving a truck of a cliff and landing on someone running below. And harvesting enemies by using an aircraft wing as a scythe.
>>65009044>20 years
Nothing worse than being the Commander while your fucktars team refuses to repair the arty and radar stations.
I remember when nine-year-old me started playing BF2 back in the day, and being pissed that the M16 had burst fire, not realizing that was just a feature of the M16A2. I wish I could time-travel back to the 80s and tell the Marines that the M16A2 should be full auto. Just so the USMC faction in BF2 doesn't feel like shit. I suppose it's even more annoying in Project Reality.
>>65008827>Bullet flies in a straight line forever
>>65008827Crouch and use controlled bursts.BF2 game design is actually fucking goated because you could easily run away from an engagement and you opponent had to stop moving to get accurate shots off, giving you enough lead to put cover between you and the enemy. But if you and your squad sprinted head first towards an opponent with crouching and prone enemies they'd fuck you up.A lot of modern game design has to give you both movement speed and accuracy which feels "good" but run and gun puts a lot less emphasis on teamwork.>>65009545M16 burst wasn't even that bad, it was just the G36E that was just too fucking good.
Battlefield Vietnam > Original 1942 > power gap > BF2 > who caresOperation Flashpoint was always better.
>>65008827i admit, i used to play it a lot in 2007 (?) pirated of coursethen some years later when i finally had the cash in 2011, i bought the game on steam, i decided to play it again, and wow, it was fucking horrible, the game was horrifically balanced, air vehicles were beyond overpowered and basically without counter besides other air vehicles, and when it comes to infantry combat, snipers were super obnoxious, 2 shot kills from basically any distance
>>65009044the first time i saw this was on fucking Google Video
>>65008827>>65009734like vanilla wow, it played differently back in the daynow all the meta is figured out and the only people left playing use exploits nonstop
>>65008803I fucked hard with Forgotten Hope and Point of Existence for BF2. Shocked to learn that Forgotten Hope is still actively being updated. Christ they've added so much. Still remember one game of FH me and another buddy got threatened with a perma ban for "cheating" when we spent a round with him parked in a Grant next to an ammo crate and me running up to direct his fire from the hull gun, and he was killing enemies from way way past the games draw distance. Good fucking game.
>>65009734>that fucking mi-28 cannon where each shell is as strong as a frag grenade
>>65009044
>>65009039>spawncamping the first spawn at Kharkand with G36C and C4 or the PKM and infinite nade spamGod i miss the fun i had in that game
>camping the hill overlooking the MEC airfield in Gulf of Oman with the M95 and sniping people through the cockpit glass as they jump in the jet
>>65009676Soon I will release my Operation Flashpoint mod and all will be well again, Anon.
>>65010550Same, or the chink airfield at that other oil-map.
>>65009159The Japanese FHSW mod is still building off the original FH with an update last year and an upcoming one this year
