What I think a lot of the people who like red dots miss about shooting is that guns should be both fun and look cool. If your gun looks stupid it defeats most of the reason to own it. OP here. This is exactly what I wanted this thread to be. Thanks to all who participated. Yes it was bait, but I really do viscerally feel that red dots are too ugly to justify their utility.
