Ammo companies are now talking about ammo scarcity and a powder shortage to charge a fuck ton for ammo. Expect some panic buying soon.
>>65012107Expect me to fuckya mudda soon.
>>65012107ammo prices going up is a fucking rule of nature lmao you are mistaken for buying now instead of always buying anytime there is a decent deal
>>65012191>ammo prices going up is a fucking rule of natureNobody is talking about the price of ammo slowly going up; I'm talking about how the shelves might be empty soon. We are talking about the fact that there is likely to be another shortage; they are claiming that for a while you might not even be able to find 9mm on shelves. Anyone who doesn't have the attention span of a goldfish can remember times when finding ammo was not as easy (like the 2012 shortage after Sandy Hook or the shortage during Covid). Ammo manufacturers are claiming that they are struggling to find enough raw materials to meet demand this year.
>>65012214>the shelves might be empty soonwhich makes prices go way up. My point stands; always buy ammo even when your not shooting or when you feel you don't need it. Hell, that should be a "Law of /k/" or something.
>>65012107Explain why there would be an ammo shortage. Explain for any reason other than talmudic encroachment
I already panic bought lmao
There's gonna be temporary shortages but no one who is panic buying has got the money to continue bulk buying for months.
I've lived through 100 panics, I really don't give a fuck anymore. I'll just enjoy other hobbies in the meantime.
>>65012338Based Legos
>>65012278The excuse that the ammo companies are making right now is that there is a powder shortage and it'll take about a year to address and stabilize. Either this is true and ammo might be scarce for a few months or it's a lie and this is market manipulation, in which case ammo will also be scarce for a few months.>>65012338>I'll just enjoy other hobbies in the meantime.Of course, but even without recreation. Have enough ammo for your needs (self-defense, hunting, targeted practice, etc.). Buying 1 box every paycheck could save your life during the shortage.
>>65012358idk I got like 30k rounds of ammo and rarely shoot
>>65012378>I got like 30k rounds of ammoYou're good then.
>>65012383Half is 5.45 and 54r that I won't shoot because it's corrosive and I don't like cleaning. At least it's there.
I have a moist nugget and two sealed spam cans stashed away incase of an ammo emergency.
>>65012397>5.45 and 54rMust be nice
>>65012378I would be estatic to have at least 4k rounds of 9mm
>>65012107just buy all the ammo
>>65012496We're not boomers with inflated money
Ignore bots trying to drum up panic.
>>65012338Legos are the gayest of all the model hobbies. At least embrace the joys of painting your own model.
>>65012397>5.45You're gonna make a bunch of people on this board bust if you keep talking like that.
There is shortage of ammo developing at distributors across the US right now, but it's much slower than Covid and Sandy Hoax. Cheap 9mm and 5.56 is mostly gone, but more expensive stuff can still be found with a bit of effort.
>>65012252This. I buy when it's on sale even if I don't need it. I'll scalp a few boomers for their social security checks
AlwaysBePanicBuying
Buy some, shoot some. The prices going up simply means you missed the boat on stacking deep but youll still be able to find some. If youre peelimg open 1k round case for a sunfay blasting trip youre equally as 'tarded ad the panic buying fucktards. Youll he 500 rounds of 9mm for 220, but youll still be able to find it. The panic buy everything now bullshit is manipulation so sgammo and those scummy ammo jews can offload what they got.Remember, that fag was offloadimg fucking tula.mo cheap back around thanksgiving. .23cpr ammo he was selling for .40cpr. Tjat stash was sox years old. That should tell you everythimg you need to know.
>>65012543>model>Legos
>>65012107we banned importation of russian ammo for no reason. that was 10-30% of the market depending on the source the feds sent a bunch of ammo to ukraine and are now replenishing the federal stockpile there are only so many powder plants and they moved to producing artillery ammo components for ukraine.imo this shit isnt worth it, we should end russian sanctions and ban sales if ammo and power to ukraine.I unironically care more about cheap ammo than some brown third world shithole
>>65012397>54rI've still got four spam cans, plus a loose 300-ish rounds from ~1945 (full lead core, not steel) kicking around.Whenever I shoot my mosin I definitely just buy new non-corrosive stuff because it's easier, and at the rate I go through it it's not like I'm going to break the bank or anything, so fuck it.Originally I thought I only had two spam cans. I forgot that I had covered two with black fabric and used them as a booster for my living room TV stand so I could see the screen from my kitchen while I cook. Found them when I got a new TV lol.

>>65012761>I forgot that I had covered two with black fabric and used them as a booster for my living room TV stand so I could see the screen from my kitchen while I cook.
>>65012107Not yet..please. I’m still saving up to buy some more .380
Why would there be a 9mm shortage when there's no ground war happening?
>>65013061You ask why a captive market is about to be price gouged?
Thank God I got into shotguns then.
>>65012107The last few years have reminded me to never put all your eggs in one basket like everyone collectively decided to in the name of convenience over the last few decades
>stocked up during oniggers ban panics>stocked up during hillarywhore panics>never had to stand in line to panic buy with redditors and libshits during chinkflu>never had to buy during puppet biden regime inflation and manufactured jew war in ukrainemillennial chads we cant stop winning just sitting on our comfy stockpiles
I just bought a 1200 case of 9s for 200. It's not the best price I've ever gotten but I'm not really feeling the pinch yet.
Wrong.
>>65012107Hijacking this thread to ask question on ammo, I have some .223 hornady frontier from 1970s-80s, will this explode my gun or was it recent batch of bad ammo that caused it?
>>65012107GUYS LAKE CITY IS SHUTTING DOWN I HEARD IT ON FACEBOOK FROM A GUY THAT SELLS AMMO
>>65012699Anon I hope you aren't planning on driving anywhere.
>>65013206Was hornady having problems recently or something?
>>65012287Never stop, panic 24/7, 365 all of the time. Sweet Suzy.
>>65013206Nerve gas
Hey guys Shlomo Ammostein of Ammomart.com you goyim are going to lose all access to ammo in the next 30 days so buy now or lose out.
You only need enough ammo to survive the initial chimp out and enough buddies to separate boomer Dave from his 55 gallon drum of .223. No reason to start a big smelly over it. If you didn’t have that much ammo jammed in a closet you were never gonna make it anyways
>>65012107>>65012214the supply shortage and war stuff are big issues for ammo price and availability, but unless there is some economic miracle in the next 2 years there would be panic buying anyway because there's always panic buying right before an election unless there's a slam dunk GOP win like in 2024
>>65012278due to a bunch of environmental and regulatory bullshit created by the "environmentalist" free trade faggots who hate the US between 1968 and 2016, plus 2020-2024, most ammo components are made in other countries even though you would think this shit would be like steel and be considered part of national securityfederal stockpiles are already down and being filled by increased orders due to the ukraine and iran wars. ammo makers can't get supplies due to "tariffs" even though again those component makers should be in the US and it's crazy the free trade homos let that shit move overseas and a lot of the major components makers switched to providing components for artillery for ukraine since there are bigger profits in doing so
>>65013061a lot of the component companies are making artillery shell components for ukraine
>>65012699are you having a stroke?>>65013071I feel like it's kind of meh. Like worst case I run out of .223 and can't rifle target shoot anymore. I have enough #4 buck that I literally never shoot and have no reason to shoot that short of an actual>it's happeningI'm fine with that alone
>>65013206Does it have any load data on the box? Curious to see because I have an empty .30-06 box but I haven't seen it for a long time. Probably fine, but have to wonder if it isn't worth something to an ammo collector at this point. Can't say I've ever seen a box of .223 Frontier that old.
>>65012107Retarded boomers panic bought, it shocked the supply, reorders became more expensive from increased fuel prices internationally and nigger Trump’s tariffs on raw materials. The economy is in a slump and private equity will destroy the company and scam the consumers just to barely break even on retarded investing. Blame the Jewish bought Supreme Court that favored the Dodge Jew brothers in Ford v. Dodge.
>>65014501>not having enough arms and ammo to start your own post apocalyptic gang at the drop of a hatClearly not leadership material.
>>65014884>hating the president and tariffs what's it like being an indian tranny?
>>65014884>Retarded boomers panic boughtThe panic buying hasn't begun yet. The only thing that is official is that ammo-making companies declared a shortage of powder and are waiting for new powder-making facilities to open up. According to the old man who made the video in the pic, companies have already halted .380 ACP production to focus on 9mm.
>>65014922Shoulda stacked deep the last 6 months.
>>65014913No the panic buying has hit, already seeing shortages of the cheapest brass case 9mm. More expensive brands are still here and at their usual prices maybe a couple cents more per round, there's just no massive 2020 levels of demand because no one has the money anymore to buy cases of ammo month over month nor the desire to because no nigger riots.
>>65014883>Does it have any load data on the box? No load data, only Grand Island, Nebraska 68801.>Can't say I've ever seen a box of .223 Frontier that old. It's .223 55gr Spire Point Bullet.
>>65014563>ven though again those component makers should be in the US and it's crazy the free trade homos let that shit move overseas and a lot of the major components makers switched to providing components for artillery for ukraine since there are bigger profits in doing soYeah, sure. They did it cuz 'profits'.
>>65014922we get it, you are a brown hindu tranny from some third world country like yurop
>>65014891You’re right, I just stack random calibers and throw them in my closet to resell when I hear chuds like you complaining down at fleet farm that all the ammo is gone
>>65014936>No the panic buying has hit, already seeing shortages of the cheapest brass case 9mm.Anon, at this point I can't tell if you have basic common sense. The SHORTAGE hit because production can't keep up with the regular demand. The increased demand due to an external factor has not happened yet. Meaning, there has been no PANIC BUYING.
>>65015039Did I touch a nerve, child? kek
>>65014909You’re dumb. Copper and other metals tariff but no undoing EPA regulations and government subsidies for national mining firms? Oh nah m, just add a tariff so we can skim more money to send to Israel so their kids can go to college, get free healthcare for life and have IBI.
>>65012338>I've lived through 100 panics, I really don't give a fuck anymore.Yep. Guess I'll play around with homerolled primers and black powder loads for the Enfield and MkVI Webley again.
>>65015075Lol people have been panic buying for over a week now.
>>65015302we shouldn't prop up strategic industries in other nations, retard. if anything we should do everything in our power to destroy all industry outside of the western hemeisphere and japan, worst korea and taiwan
