Why couldnt anyone duryng ww2 do combined arms with battle ship?
It was basicaly the infantry holding territory or forcing an enemy to move away from it.
Admirals wouldnt move their ships anywhere near them because the risk of getting ambushed by one would utterly rape any ther ship in close.
And we saw that Tirpitz with costal battery for smoke screen could hide from even air surveilance and hold the waters for good time.
If the Japanese admirals had given an air escort to Yamato she could have given her many AAA scare off any american craft comig near.
But for some reason theyd didnt integrate them with other ships.
Like an aircraft carrier today without an escort it can be picked off by massed missile fire from destroyers or from submarines that why you do combined arms.
Why did they play battleships like they were a single army of their own?

What schizophrenic rambling is this? I'm not reading all that shit nigger. Go format it like a real person and try again.

a slow moving target that is also very expensive to keep functional and also very expensive to make new ones
>>
infantry works because it's very resilient as a formation, battleships can't dig in and serve in an economy force role, they are high value vulnerable targets themselves

BBs were extensively used in combined arms warfare all the way through Desert Storm you fucking moron.
