So if you had to clear an enemy out of a large mine/underground military bunker what would the strategy be? Would you be forced to use things like pic related exclusively for armor and fire support? What if you WERE the defenders Could a lesser equipped force negate technologically superior assaulters just by holding chokepoints for extended periods?

>>65016889If it's just killing I would dump several tanker trucks of fuel down there and wait a couple of days for the walls to cool down.If it was hostage rescue or capture HVTs I think the best bet would be some kind of mobile cover as you aren't in an endless killbox.If the defenders don't have thermals I would push behind a wall of IR transparent smoke.If I was the defenders I would build firing ports into the walls, floor and roof. Maybe a few command mines to collapse sections if we have multiple exits.
