>>65018415Oh new thread. I just shot my M1A today. Had a couple of failures to feed in two or three out of 7 of my checkmate magazines with M118LR. I've been shooting the same rifle with the same magazines since October or so. Never had this happen before. Can you guys offer any insight? Maybe the magazines or the rifle was just dirty. I also replaced the stock recently and had to replace the connector lock pin to fit it. I ran my finger through the action to scoop up a lot of gunk and after that there were no more FTFs, so maybe it was dirty enough to cause issues there. I also had a failure to extract, kind of a odd thing but I think the open scope cap is what caused that. Anyway lately its been kind of frustrating because every time I change something on this rifle, I get a new problem. I hope its just changes in tolerances/settling into the new stock because after those two or three FTFs in the beginning the rifle ran smooth.
