made this ww2-style IFV for urban combat
i imagine it would be used sorta like a mobile barricade, with the guns on the sides being the main armament, and the top gun being in an almost DMR role
i have no idea what i'm doing, but i'm having fun anyway

what have you guys made up recently?

the ones on steam, theres also youtube videos that give tips too
biggest ones i learned so far was that "alt" copies objects when placing, and "shift" lets you move the camera side to side (doesn't seem like much, but it helps a lot)

i personally learned that you can flip an object's mirror in the selection's menu, so its not bound by the symmetry sides (i.e., an m2 browning isn't fed from the left if placed on the left side of a vehicle, so on, so forth)
was also having a hard time with guns having no left-to-right radius when making casemate vehicles, but you can also set that by going in the menu & increasing it, since its set to 0 by default, and it'll aim just fine after that (and you can decrease up or down depression too, if the gun isn't fitting in the vehicle)

I haven't fired that game up since well before the fully modeled internals update. I just know all my tanks are going to be broken as shit when I do. Pride and joy was my MBT. Direct descendant of my very first serious tank design. Used a ghost turret for a fast traverse and a custom mantlet. Before the transmission nerf it had pretty spot on Abrams equivalent performance. Even made a special super .50 coax for it I called ".50 Reaper". Could pen the optics on the Panther mantlet very reliably. Main gun is a 105mm.

For me it was this semi-autistically remade Pershing I did while holding a Tamiya 1/35 model kit in my other hand. Doesn't hold a candle to the giga autistic shit on their discord but I'm not an autistic NEET loser who can dedicate an entire 24/7 week to modelling stupid shit in vidya.

Nice! I really need to get all my screenshots off my laptop. That game also forced me to learn to make repeating camo patterns which is super easy and a pain in the ass at the same time. Here's an example of my old camo before I made the universal one shown on the Meade. Made it an eternity ago in a camo thread. Creates a neat effect on tiling but it's not great without it.

This vehicle one is meant to fill the role of a Bradley but has obscene effective frontal armor. Base model comes with a 30mm and four "Pilum" missiles (my strangereal lore javelin equivalent). There's also a variant armed with a 65mm gun.

I've tried to get into it, but I haven't gotten very far. It seems really cool but getting stuff to look good AND work (especially in the case of tanks) is way harder than in, say, Sprocket.
