All my gear is more or less on the basement floor since I bought my house in 2019. I've been meaning to build some sort of slat wall to put the guns on and out a work bench down there. So many projects to get too, so little time
Thinking of getting a 3D printer to print mounts for my rifles and pistols then mounting them on a wall. Are we at the point that I can buy a 3D printer, plug it in, and print a file? Or does it have to be messed with and fiddled with? I don't really want to pick up a new hobby.Secondly, anyone know of a place that has files for the mounts? >>65028736not that much ig...if you buy a good mid range printer w/ enclosure, it's not rly a lot of work once you figured out what slicer settings work best (there are probs suggestions in the manual)...you just might run into issues with badly designed models, but most slicer's auto support generation and other automated features have become good enough that an elementary school kid could easily use a 3d printer
