What's the tactical value of a robot dog with a gun strapped to its back?
>>
its a doggy dog world out there
>>
>bragging with these
>>
>>65029999
Dunno, but the US is making them too
>>
im sure eventually they will be a real threat but also they are pretty fragile. any normal 5.56 ammo is going to go right through the guts of that thing and it will be a while before they actually armor them.
>>
>>65029999
the bigger they are the worse they get

Even in their smallest version, they are really loud and probably can't be used for any form of engagement that requires shutting your mouth and keeping quiet. unless you want to announce to the world where you're coming from far in advance.

These kind of comments are a diamond dozen

Err, fuck niggers. Did I do that right?

It's the perfect weapon to have on hand when the situation gets a little ruff.

Tactical value is about experimenting and learning and getting ready for the future. Initial stuff is never very impressive but give it another decade of constant development and that'll start to change. It's not like they're made of platinum, in terms of fundamental material cost of the necessary metal, plastic and chips it'll be less then $5k, and nothing stopping them from getting pumped out someday. With another decade of battery improvements including new solid state stuff, more speed, purpose designed armaments, and dynamic mesh ptp networking like we've seen in UAV swarm experiments so that hundreds to thousands of the fuckers can be sent swarming into wherever and coordinate/report anything they see to everything else, I wouldn't want to be up against it without fortifications and/or my own drone defense swarms.

Like that fixed wing drone cargo craft that can carry 3 tons a few thousand km, it's not hard to envision this ultimately becoming another piece of a near fully robotic army.

I'm sick of robot dogs. I demand they make them look like medabots or something.

I agree though I think insectoid designs probably make more sense.

>they are pretty fragile. any normal 5.56 ammo is going to go right through the guts of that thing

The problem is how often can you repeat that little trick before one of the other 20 dogs they sent in with the first one gets you?
>>
>>65029999
they're super fucking loud with their gear movements, there's a reason all their videos the audio of them are covered up or missing
>>
>>65030345
With the rest of the platoon shooting it shouldn't be a problem.

the PLA soldiers kept eating the real dogs

Because social credit rape droids would be too obvious
>>
You can shoot someone in the ankles on flat ground.
>>
>>65029999
Two fold. Suicidal robot doggo to act as a meat shield. When it dies, they can eat it. Don't ask how.
>>
>>65030033
I'm pretty sure you could say the same thing about most soldiers...
>>
>>65029999
oh hey they figured out that you can put the gun upside down
they're learning
>>
>>65029999
Not much value, their bark is worse than their bite.
>>
>>65030033
Once they armour them, the dogs will be heavier which stresses joints and kills battery life so the engineers will replace the inefficient legs with treads. And once they're armoured they may as well put in bigger guns so they'll replace the rifle with a cannon, and then...
>>
>>65029999
Quads checked.

The world is going to the dogs.
>>
>>65030017
At least we integrate the fucking gun.

I have a Garbage Synthwave fb page for fun, I shitpost cold war stuff and the original music is CRAP. It's all AI garbage for the pictures and whenever anyone but like 4 of my friends joins, I insult the fuck out of them and ban them. Then I talk a bunch of shit about how the band never has shows because fans are retards, the art is stupid, and life sucks anyway. Also, current tech can't produce my level of music.
Nihilist Cold War Disco Synth Punk?
Anyway, I use this clip in the videos A LOT.

Largely internal politics and box ticking by generals and technical experts to avoid purges. If you can claim you're implementing new productive forces as described in his newest batch of Xi Jinping thought papers, you'll make it through another season as long as he doesn't look to closely. Xi has actually surpassed Mao by the total percentage of officers he's purged in one go, and only lagging behind Mao slightly when it comes to the politburo level. You should see how jumpy mainlanders are these days whenever anything related to china is mentioned in a conversation. It's shocking even when compared to the post 2017 chill on dissent.

CSIS did a good open source dive into the topic. But if anything they're probably undercounting due to the fact a lot of shit is likely happening behind closed doors, since that's the most effective and common type of purge.
>Since 2022, over 100 senior PLA officers from across virtually all areas of the armed forces have been swept aside or gone missing, amounting to an unprecedented purge of China’s military.

Anyone else feel like there is too many
>look at this video of futuristic chink shit bro!
videos on twitter?
I bet most of them are literally fake and gay, especially in AI age.
They just look too tryhard and at the same time only shows up on those social media platforms like twitter.
Smells staged af.
>>
>>65029999
A rifle with a 30 round mag is pretty useless, a belt feed with as much ammo as you can fit on is great so long as the platform can handle the recoil.
>>
>>65030039
>dime a dozen
>>
>>65032358
At least this contraption can aim properly.
