Hypothetically if my AR15 had a BP (bullet penetration) of 158/99, should that be something I should worry about and go to a doc- uhh gunsmith to help remedy? I know the rifle is a tool but I don't mind if it needs replaced in a few years; or to trash it all together (die).

Basic stuff like being slightly nervous or whatever can of course raise your BP and give a high reading. If it's consistently that high than you're not about to die but you do need to make done lifestyle changes. Start with the basic stuff like taking long walks with your AR-15 every day, reduce your AR-15's sodium intake and feed it clean good quality brass ammo. If you're AR-15 is overweight cutting some weight out will of course help. If your AR-15 is a big smoker or drinker try reducing that too

Not high enough for them to care seriously but that one I tested last night was abnormal I would say due to circumstances prior to getting it checked at the pharmacy. I will definitely continue with cardio for SHTF ar15 gun rifle shooting, and quitting nicotine as advised from another shooting enthusiast, I need my slop food though so I will make up for my AR15 in another way. I am in good shape, don't smoke and don't drink besides special occasions maybe 7 times a year.
Do people still care for rounds like 6.8 SPC or 6.5 Grendel, or do I have to go to 6arc for a non 5.56 small frame AR? I just want something different but with long term viability, dunno how these calibers are doing in those terms
>>65033211It's elevated. There's a lot of reasons why. Cortisol is associated with pain and raises bp for example. Eating a poor reman diet high in sodium (corrosive primers) and cholesterol (shit bullets) and low in fiber (good bullets) will also contribute to high bp. Anxiety, diabetes, and kidney disease will all have an effect on BP and so will their treatment. There's so many causes but rule of thumb is start with diet and exercise (shooting and larping) for your ar-15 and go from there.
