>>65040850Simplified or enlarged logos are a way of tacitly accepting that your target demographics can't read.
Their OG logo was awesome and it told you what they do. Fuck all this minimalism bullshit.
>>65040935Guns, bikes, windmill politics.Nice.
>>65040850>from EF EN to (f)ucki(n)'
The P90 is literally the only noteworthy or good thing they make. Everything else is slop.

>>65040850Used to do cool stuff but they've been retarded and raped for the last 5-10 years. >slightly overpriced handguns at a worse price point than HK of all companies>very overpriced M4 and M16A4 clones>monstrously overpriced flagship rifle that only now got a long overdue upgrade >discontinued bullpup (retarded design but conceptually and aesthetically cool) without replacement >plastic clamshell SMG with shit factory trigger and no improvements despite 3rd party upgrades existing for decades >overweight GPMG and LMG >alleged management and legal problems >vomit inducing color scheme with 4-5 distinct shades of FDE/tan despite parts being made of of the same material Worst of all >owns rights to produce Winchester firearms but does not make military furniture for the 1895
>>65043993Bullpups simply don't sell in 202X. The Aug is dead outside Australia, the MDR has consistently failed to find buyers in spite of 15 years of trying, and even a successful seller like the Tavor is being eclipsed by the ACE and ARAD. The F2000 was killed because nobody wanted it, and there's no point in replacing it in the catalog with something that will only garner similarly little interest.>overweight GPMG and LMGThe Evolys is super light, and the M240 and M249 are designs from the 50s and 80s respectively that FN keep making because people keep buying them. I mean shit, less than 6 months ago they got a $7 million DOD contract for M240s; so there's zero reason to stop making them.
>>65044027There were several waves of revived interest in bullpups between 2010 and 2020 and FN couldn't be arsed to ride any of them. Even now they have a niche with the VHS-2 and AUG having their own audience, they are successful without needing to be mass issued to some military or police unit somewhere. The problem is that FN has ignored anything that can't be shilled to a government contract first and foremost for years, look at how long it took them to apply basic upgrades to the SCAR that civilian customers were screaming for for over a decade.
>>65040860Accurate.
>>65043993>overweight GPMG and LMG Literally the cornerstone western small arms in those categories. Give credit where its due
>>65045208>they are successful without needing to be mass issued to some military or police unit somewhere. No they're fucking not, private consumer sales are fucking beans compared to even a tiny military contract. The AUG and VHS are doing well because they *did* get mass issued to military and police.
>>65045430>The AUG and VHS are doing well because they *did* get mass issued to military and police. The AUG was mass issued decades ago and now it's being replaced by many, and the VHS was mass issued to ONE country.
>>65040955You said it pardner
>>65045208>There were several waves of revived interest in bullpups between 2010 and 2020 and FN couldn't be arsed to ride any of them.May I see them? I dont deny there are always a few bullpups at SHOT, but that's not the same as sales. The VHS sold to its nation of origin and, what, Iraqi SWAT? Not exactly iron man numbers. As for the AUG, I'm really not seeing what you're seeing. Yes there's an existing customer base for parts and accessories, but that's in service of nearly 50 years of sales, rather than indicative of fresh demand for the rifle.
