Just bought this little bastard for 140$ but i dont know how i should sharpen my straight razors with it. Should i have the wheel turning towards the edge or towards the spine? Should i just try to do modified x strokes?

Put thin tape over the rear of the razor's spine and side it over a truly flat sharpening stone so that it lays completely flat. You're going to need to get a variety of high grit whetstones. Grinding wheels are better for regular knives.
