>the most effective anti-drone weapon is a fishing pole?

drone jousting when?
>>

It makes you wonder if getting taken out from behind becomes such a problem, drones have a rear view camera installed and you see cat and mouses drone chases.
>>
>drone needs 4 spinning propelers to keep flying

You forgot the string, OP. It's the string that is the actual weapon.

Good idea on the part of the Ukies since it saves them from wasting a lot of their own drones on crashing into the enemy ones. They need an automatic string feeder to put a new one out front after every hit instead of having to RTB for a reload.

That whole thing requires an insanely good operator. I can't imagine that they have many people capable of flying them with that precision.

Do you play Counter Strike?
>>

finally REAL innovation and fun.

although i question how long it takes between detection, lift off and interception of drones or do you have them loitering?

Cute touch.

Theyve gotta spot them from the ground or a radar or some shit. I cannot imagine flying your own drone around looking for other drones is particularly effective.
>>
I saw someone take out a DJI with a roll of toilet paper at a football match. Why not give soldiers these instead? It'd be more useful than trying to shoot them.

Assuming the Russians don't just blow it up and the Ukrainians wait for the battery to run out and know approximatly where the fished drone crashes. Could they be savaged and used against the Russians, or only stripped of their parts?
>>
>>65059791
Most of these hits look like they are on hovering drones doing recon.

>>65059951
Get an FPV drone, they are cheap, fun and you will learn why this isn't how it works.
>>
>>65060802
Unless you are really desperate for drones it's not worth risking men to go get them.
That said a big octocopter could be sent to pick them up with a hook and a skilled pilot.

What's next, crossbows with a long line attached to the arrow?

I was expecting them to be from West Ukraine aka East Poland.
Either a Volyn or Galica brigade.

Actually they're from Poltava which has never been anything but Ukrainian.

I guess it's just a winged spartan, not a winged hussar.

EW would tell you that they're out there and a rough bearing, then you go look.

I think most FPVs would weigh less than their warhead, so most drones could go retrieve another drone if they were stripped down a bit.

Has this been geolocated? Many of the scenes appear to be in the same general area. What are these lines?

>Has this been geolocated?
Get to work anon.
Start by finding the source of the video, the unit in question has been identified in this thread and I'm sure they have a telegram channel that this was posted on.

>Many of the scenes appear to be in the same general area.
A single unit will have a specific area of operations during a given rotation, so you'd expect them to be operating in the same general area.

>What are these lines?
They seem to be pipelines.

You didn't grow up with video games

You really see the difference in skill between the Ukrainian videos, and the ones you are starting to see from the middle east.

Both sides have bounty programs that pay REALLY GOOD for captured and intact enemy drones, but this is to pinpoint the frequencies the enemy is using at that section of the front, at that point in time, and to lock them all down for the next day or three with ewar until the frequencies are changed again.

Parts value is negligible.

I don't. The talks were about sending drones and their Ukrainian teams to the Middle East so that there would not be skill issue-induced start-up times and the P1suns would be effective immediately.

Mind you, that's what the talks were about at the start. I don't know if that changed.

Did you just start following the war? There's been so much material with russians dying crossing these kind of fortifications the last year. Ukrianians build them all over.

Bogroll is critical for troop morale. Nothing saps a soldier's will to fight more than having to defecate like an animal.
>>
>>65059590
counting or not counting drone on drone violence?
