No, (it arrived a decade prior to Steyr's TMP, two decades before B&T's purchase of that as the MP9) was a failed re-design of the Uzi by Gal himself and manufactured by Ruger. Has a relatively shitty closed-bolt adaptation of the original Uzi open bolt manual of arms. In other words, tried to update his own design; it looked cool but failed as a submachine gun.
