USP, it's both more durable and lighter. Safety is less retarded as well because you can either decock it or carry cocked/locked. You can even swap it over to LEM if you want to.

If you get a 9mm then you'll need a whole new upper to swap calibers and good luck finding one of thoseI will say however you'll find a lot more holsters for the 92, it was a pain finding the holster I use currently

The 92 does have a nicer locking system and shoots a little smoother/more accurately (mostly due to the alloy frame adding a little weight).Dark horse option for me would be a Taurus PT92. Basically a Beretta 92 only with a frame mounted safety/decocker like the USP has by default. If you prefer the slide mounted safety/decocker or a decock only setup obviously you'd go for the regular Beretta 92 instead.
