Is 185 grains too light for .45? In terms of sectional density and reliable expansion plus penetration. Im not on the 230 grain train, i think a 200-215 grain would be best but 185 and 230 seem most common for some reason

>>65083505If you're velocity maxxing with +p or Super, 185s make sense. Other than that I'd go 230 for defense. I like 200gr SWCs for targets, haven't tried loading 185gr SWCs yet.
