How do we clean up this mess?
>>65086253a really big spool
>>65086253Giant rake
Drones.
>>65086253Big spinnig pitchfork
>>65086253Do damaged fiber optic have the same hazards as damaged carbon fiber?
>>65086253really big modified combine harvester
>>65086298Same problems as fiberglass but worse. The filaments are TINY so you'll never find that shit if it gets stuck in your skin.
>>65086253POWs and/or dissidents
>>65086253nook it so it melts away
>>65086253Stick a pitchfork in the air and give it a spin
>>65086264>>65086293
>>65086253Drop a couple of gypsies in the general area.
>>65086253you dont, you monetize it by promising fiber to every household
>>65086253>silicate fiberacid raid.
>>65086253>How do we clean up this mess? You don't. It's like the Zone Rouge, some parts can be cleared out a bit but the fact is that chunks of Ukraine are probably never going to be completely rebuilt or deemed safe for human habitation.
>>65086253What am I looking at?
>>65086806Fiber optic cables from drones near the frontline.
Yo unc what was world war 3 like? It was just a bunch of millenials with 3d printers and rc toy helicopters from the mall killing each other and leaving the battlefield like their dorito covered basement floors circa 2008
>>65086253If this war ever gets to an end or prolonged ceasefire what do you think the charge for these wires will be? Like is it a crackhead tearing up a building for copper wire or is it just useless
>>65086891>Like is it a crackhead tearing up a building for copper wire or is it just uselessThe latter. Fiber optic has zero inherent value, it's just glass or plastic (I assume in this case plastic as it's cheaper and the downsides don't matter in this role). Copper is worth quite a bit as an element and utterly trivial to recycle, you just melt it down again.Unfortunately this is just going to be a big environmental mess with no silver lining at all, the stuff will break down somewhat but only to the point of microplastics filling the local environment and then some moving down stream into the the sea. It'll fuck up wildlife and agriculture.Of course, war in general can be an environmental catastrophe and leave remnants behind for centuries. There will be lots of UXOs, lots of various toxic pollutants, lots of debris, much of which we have no present way to thoroughly clean up. It sucks but is what it is. And still less toxic then being conquered by ziggers.
>>65086891Shits a gold mine, glue it to a flashlight with a Mickey Mouse head and sell it to kids
>>65086253Someone clever will invent a bug that eats glass fibre then someone else will have to invent a bug to stop them.Such is the way of the world.
>>65086918The glass will be shit out into protein that can be used in Doritos products and since it’s not GMO they can level it as organic That’s how American works
>>65086806webs left behind by the genetically engineered hato black mercenary boris johnson spiders
Speaking of cleanup, I had an idea for a Ukie gymWould you go to a gym where every weight was a repurposed piece of some Soviet shitbox? You couldn't get me out of the place with a crowbar if I could do curls with plates that was cut out of a T90's barrel
Realistically? A 2meter wide spinning four prong spool on the end of a digger arm, each prong can retract inwards to drop off the spool into a truck
>>65086922Get the troops in the forward bunker factories to go out and collect it. They can lay up bunches of it in composite drone frame reinforcement.
>>65087280>fiber snaps
birds
>>65087555
>>65086253Peace Corp volunteers and state issued wives.
>>65087565Such an underrated movie.
>>65087565This looks like 90s kino, is it any good?
>>65086253Semi related but my idea for war clean up charity>UXO clean up focused>accept suicidally depressed volunteers>teach them minimal EOD >they either:>die and get their wish while giving back a bit>find new meaning and self worth after helping others and leaveTl;dr suicidal UXO cleanup org
>>65086741Which is sad because the soil is some of the richest on the planet.
