To note, mine is a PX4 Storm Compact Carry (has all the LTT bells and whistles straight from the factory).I don't know if the rotating barrel actually softens the recoil, if there's some black magic going on or what. BUT in my subjective experience it does, in fact, soften recoil; as it is a softer shooting gun as compared to similarly sized pistols. My opinion. YMMV. Mine has been super reliable. I've probably got a couple thousand rounds through it and the only malfunctions I've had have been user induced (pro tip : don't ride the slide dummy). Cleans easily enough. Very accurate. Is that because it fits my hand well and I enjoy shooting it? Is it because the barrel doesn't tilt and remains more in line with the sights vs. a tilting barrel design? Is it because the trigger is really nice? Is it all of these things? Probably. In the end, it is soft shooting, accurate, reliable, and easy enough to clean.
