What is /k/ opinion on hunting as a sport to control invassive species?

It's needed to control native species in areas where we've wiped out the apex predators, it absolutely makes sense for invasive species. The problem starts when people start raising that invasive species and charging for guided hunts.

I doubt I was particularly influential but that report did get me some job offers, all of which I turned down because I'd have to move to Florida and every time I've gone to Florida I've almost died. One of my earliest memories is aiming a BB gun at a fly on the wall during a big family get together. I must have been like 5. I wasn't allowed to shoot indoors so I wasn't gonna pull the trigger but one of my uncles told me to go for it, and for some reason everyone there (like 15 extended relatives) chose to stop talking and stare at me as I bullseyed that fly and smeared its guts across the wall.Anyway yeah hunting is cool
