Lagoda APC. It was meant to transport Soviet VIPs in CBRN conditions.

A capital ship if you're the Captain/Admiral. Stateroom is still pretty decent even if utilitarian and quite cozy, and obviously in-port is crazy nice on something like a carrier. Though even as someone lower down the pole aircraft carriers are still pretty decent in terms of basics.

I guess technically this is the most correct answer, and POTUS is CNC, AF1 is under the AF obviously etc. But that feels a little like cheating too since POTUS is also head of civilian government and AF1 is heavily civvie in function, fitting and use as well, not any sort of combat role. It'd be like for ships JUST counting the in-port and pretending the captain spent all his time there at sea too vs almost never being there.

I had a brand new bushmaster once and it was mighty comfy compared to everything else up to that point

Think there was some BTR-70's and 80's that had civilian models for firefighting and offroading, they 80 wouldn't be bad for that as they're relatively decent in terms of the driveline and durability if you're not being shot at.

Maybe the BPM-97, they did sell some of them on the civ market because Kamaz was kind of poor and needed money after blowing out their budget (or having it stolen) during development
They do look kind of cool, just a big fat MRAP

I wonder how often Lt Col Sgt had people reorder the ranks in his name out of habit?
