ooooh it's a good one... ithaca model 37... featherlight... furniture's all in good shape... it's been stored in a nice leather pouch with pretty artwork on it... serial number indicates it's a slam-fire model... but gramps just HAD to get one in 16 gauge. FUCK!
>>65094113I never got to see the heirloom gun, apparently it was a marlin 1870-something in some fuckass .38 caliber given to my ancestors by Frank and Jesse James as thanks for switching out horses for em often. Or so they say at least. still would've been amazing to have and pass the story along if it wasn't taken in my uncle's first divorce. noone knows where it is or if it's been sold off so in my opinion, I aint ever gonna be able to see it. feelsbadman
>>65094113>16 gaugeTime to get into handloading shotshells. The good news is that loading shotshells is easy and the tools are much cheaper than for loading centerfire. You can load using a roll crimper (costs under $20) and a cordless drill which you probably already have. If you want a fancy press because you intend to a shoot a lot that costs a fraction of what a progressive press for rifle/pistol.First step is to get your hands on the BPI 16 gauge manual.
>>65094623>centerfireAm retard. Meant to say "metallic".
my godfather's family once owned an inn in missouri during the civil war that was occupied by soldiers got fought over during a battle, and since they still owned the land they got a whole bunch of trophies by picking up all the different rifles and equipment left behind, had a massive stash of itthen someone in like the 70s broke into their home and stole all of it, would probably have been worth tens of thousands today
if ithacas were good they would still be in business, also slamfire is stupid, just pull the trigger dingus.
>>65094740They are still in business.
>>65094745what the sigma
>>65094113I want to nakadashi and impregnate a hag (same age as me)
>>65094992how about you nakadashi (apply for) and impregnate (regularly show up on time for) a hag (job)
>>65094113that's rough man, sorry you got a 16g. I managed to buy one in 12g for $100 from a coworker who had no idea what he had. great shotgun. easily my favorite to take hunting for ducks and turkey. slamfire is a blast (haha) but difficult to control with how light the shotgun is, still fun though
>>65094113Sounds like you are obsessed with 12 gauge.
>>65095051You can find 12 and 20 gauge most everywhere, 16 and 28 are harder to come by than 410
>>65095001There is no job anymore
>>65095001I have a job wheres my 28-32 year old hagwife (Im 35)
>>65095001>dis nigga thinks there's jobs hiring White men for a White man's wageLol. Lmao even.
>>6509411316ga isn't that bad. Prowl old dusty gun shops that sell secondhand ammunition and have cash. Offer to buy multiple boxes if they give you a steep discount. Cash helps lubricate these transactions because they can do a little tax fuckery later if they want to by writing off the inventory and not reporting the income.I've seen old boxes of 16ga target and hunting loads sell for as cheap as $5/25 that way. You can also get some imported ammunition for not totally insane prices because 16ga remains popular in Europe. You can also get a roll crimper and reload spent hulls as long as they are brass base in good condition. This also opens the door to rolling your own retarded loads like buck and slug or coin shot. Just be sure the gun can handle what you are sending through it (check what choke it has and if the barrel can handle steel shot).
My heirloom guns were a part of a winchester deal that include a 94 and the .22 (don’t remember the model and cannot be fucked to look it up) and the 1897 riot gun that a banker owned before my grandpa. The 1897 appears to be never fired or close to it.
>>65095777
>>65095780The 22 appears to be a Model 1906. All 3 of those were excellent firearms of their time and appear to be in extremely good condition.
>>65095780oh anon i don't think i would have posted that
>>65094113
>>65095780Just fucking shave your head and embrace baldness faggot.
>>65094113Anko is so hot. I wanna breed her and hold her hand.
>>65095780The Reaper comes for thee
>>65094113Hey, it could be worse. My family heirloom shotgun is a 12 gauge Winchester 1911.
>>65094113My maternal grandpa was a crazy polish guy who would tool around the Florida panhandle at his propoerty shooting pinecones. He left my mom a neat old .32 S&W an IBM M1 carbine, and a Belgian-made Browning A5 "sweet 16." I'm pretty stoked about the shotgun because it still has all the Belgian proofmarks and golden trigger, but I all the bluing wore off.
>>65094782I just so happened to look these up last week and it blew me away, especially since there are plenty of used ones on the market for reasonable prices. My guess is that this is how they're trying to unfuck their decision to get all Hebrew a few years back.
>>65095780huh, looks like the winchesters I got except my additions were a rossi model 62 .22 pump and a personally repaired rust blued 1897 from 1903. my grandpa left me my great grandfather's 1894 from 1936 and a pre 64' model 1912 12 ga that was in a lake for awhile because two of his brothers drowned in it duck hunting in the late 60's, well that and his model 100 he bought in the service in 64/65 hard to pin down the timeline. my dad got his rare ruger modell 44 semi auto .44 magnum but its fine because it needed Graphite lube to operate in cold weather. I got quite a few more guns from him, but honestly I'd rather have him back among the living.
>>65095300Post hagwife.
>>65094113>mfw both of my ww2 vet grandfather's 1911s were stolen
>>65095001as if there's anywhere actually hiring full time that is not sweatshop tier
>>65094113I recently got these two old 1911s that are pretty cool.
>>65095865>12 gauge 1911What in the fuck?
>>65096244He means a Winchester model 12, man this website has gone downhill when you can't decipher autocorrect drunk retard-speak
>>65096244He's talking about the Winchester widowmaker.Had a sketchy cocking mechanism that made you jerk off the shotgun because someone still had the patent to making a normal semi auto shotgun.Kind of like those funky revolvers that existed while S&W held the patent for making it in a way that made sense
>>65096254>heirloom Widowmaker
>>65094113Aside from wood condition and case your family heirloom is my beater truck gun.
My grandmother sold my grandads entire collection for $2000 to a cop that lived down the street, a month after he passed. M1 garand, m1 carbine, vintage Smith revolvers, probably 20 guns total.
>>65095791Eh don’t care>>65095821Those are the contractors who hung up the shelf
>>65094113the closest thing i have to an heirloom is a single shot 20g (stevens?) that my great grandfather blasted himself withit's engraved but went into evidence with one side caked in blood and so the side it laid on is really bad
I got a 16ga spanish sxs made in Eibar from my godfather. Unfortunately the S&B 16ga supply dried up since the russo-ukrainian war.
