I've reached the point in my knife life where I need to start making my own shit in order to satiate my dark, twisted fantasies. I'm sick of asking myself which cool knife I want to take with me today, because the answer is all of them. I want all of them. >Starting from a 91mm Victorinox Deluxe Tinker>Add another layer for two Spyderco blades >Keep the original full-size Victorinox blade, but add a second full-size on the same layer with serrations for bread-cutting>That's a total of four knives in two layers! Four of them!>Think of what you could do with four knives!>Moving on to the toolset...>Love the scissors/pliers combo, so I'm building off of that>I want the cap lifter replaced with a fork/cap lifter>The flathead screwdriver bit on top of the can opener is all the screwdriver I could possibly need, so I'll take the Phillips-head bit on the spine and convert it into a tiny gun that fires a singular 22LR round>because you can never be too prepared>and if anyone tries to tell you that you can be, you use that 22LR attachment on themAnyone have any more ideas? I just wanna make sure I have all the tools that I could ever need at any given moment.
I have a leatherman
>>65094642Based
>>65094642thisit kinda sounds like youre making a leatherman but with extra steps. cool it's custom, but im hard pressed to find a task my leatherman free p4 cant handle. also where do you find a tiny .22s that fit on philips-head bit?
>>65094635Sounds cool anon, perhaps add on one of those tiny pens? I've been noticing at least on my end that I need a pen more than I would've thought in my day-to-day actions. >>65094642Same here, 2 of them in fact! Best part is that I got them for free by finding them in an old van; they were covered in surface rust but after cleaning that up they've been wonderful. Leatherman > Swiss Army Knife
>>65094642>>65095181>Leatherman > Swiss Army KnifeI actually have a newer 2nd gen Leatherman Wave and it's fantastic. My issue is that it's sort of bulky and heavy for edc. I'm sure they make a smaller multitool that's better than Victorinox in every way, but I really like how iconic and compact the 91mm SAK is. I like it as a platform for every day, light-duty tools. I really enjoy the Victorinox pliers even though they're ostensibly worse than Leatherman. Speaking of which, what's the best Leatherman model right now?>>65095004>where do you find a tiny .22s that fit on philips-head bit?You don't, I just made it up. It's probably entirely possible to actually make one, though.
I wish Knife general was still alive. I wanted to tell that Anon who bought the same knife as me what I thought about it.
