That said, those aren’t actually decorative ridges but are to turn blows. They look sexy but that’s more of a consequence. The really flamboyant helmets looked great but were dogshit terrible to fight in because they’d be easy to grab and control you from. You want a featureless rounded helmet so there’s nowhere to grip on it so you don’t die.
