This sounds like total bullshit but the partial stack magazine was present in the USP compact in 45 as well as the CZ 97B, and probably some other random bullshit 100 years ago
>>
I was at a local gun store with my dad. The guy there was trying to sell me on a Canik he brought out and showed me. I jokingly told him after he put it away that my dad and I are HK guys and I might be a snob when I look at something like that. A customer that had come in during the conversation chimed in, "Sometimes it do be like that."
>>
>>65099131
USP Compact had a stack and a half? I don't think that's right
>>
>>65099136
only in 45
>>
>>65099140
I think that is false.
>>
>>65099140
>>65099131
If the USP compact .45 is a stack and half so is the PX4 .45 as it’s the same width mag as the 9mm/.40 but longer to fit .45.

It’s total bullshit that HK sold the P365 design to Sig or some shit.
>>
>>65099143
>It’s total bullshit that HK sold the P365 design to Sig or some shit.
It's true. That's James Williamson. A certified armorer for HK with access to the grey room. He works for HK now. You are right to doubt my screenshots even though they are correct.
>>
>>65099142
Look it up nigger, full size USP 45 mags are not usable in the compact and the design for the compact mags was used for the HK45, the reason the full size HK45 lost 2 rounds of capacity versus the USP was because it wasn't a true double stack, and the HK45c and USP compact 45 mags are the same.
>>
>>65099148
It is not stack and a half.
>>
>>65099147
No, he’s lying or stupid.

>inb4 more lies
If the origin of the P365/stack and a half was HK we’d know about it. It’s stupid to believe that HK USA or even dumber HK Germany developed a pistol and then just sold the design for Pennies to Sig Sauer USA.
>>
>>65099159
>If the origin of the P365/stack and a half was HK we’d know about it.
No, you wouldn't.
>>
>>65099158
It's not single stack and it's not double stack so what it is retard?
>>
File: IMG_1241.jpg (2.31 MB, 5581x4284)
2.31 MB JPG
>>
>>65099164
It is double stack. I don't know why you're arguing this with me.
>>
>>65099143
Also any 9mm framed gun that had 40 S&W shoved into it would not have been wide enough for a true double stack magazine.
>>
>>65099163
It’s so fucking stupid. That HK came up with the P365 when it’s literally just a smaller striker fired design based off the P250 FCU system. HK just then gave the design to Sig which than took over the entire market by storm while HK was sniffing its own asshole

Where are the HK prototypes predating the P365? Where any drawings or concepts? If they made it and deemed it “not to HK standards” why isn’t there prototypes lying around?

It’s completely fake bullshit
>>
>>65099172
What can I say? The design was given to Sig. And we got the P365, clearly. The other iterations may have been theirs.
>>
>>65099176
You can say sorry for peddling complete bullshit
>>
Oh wait I forgot HKfags believe that a USP went 300k rounds without any spring changes, per a HKpro forum post where a guy talked to a guy who had a phone call with an HK armorer
>>
>>65099177
It's really not bullshit. You know who James Williamson is, right?
>>
>>65099181
A liar
>>
>>65099182
Incorrect. James Williamson is based.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bXuO3lujhs
>>
It's obviously 1.67 stack.
>>
>>65099188

no such thing. just get a 686 or SP101 and watch some videos on how to tune them up.
>>
>>65099369
Get a Performance center Smith or Match Champion Ruger. I personally really like the Model 60 Pro, but if you want something bigger, get a 686 or GP100. The Performance Center Model 19 is amazing and is what you really want, but it isn't cheap. Stop being a poorfag or save up and buy something good. Don't get a cheap revolver and expect quality. Cheap revolvers are for idiots or people that know how to open them up and make them good.

Even Karens are busy in Costco, they don't give a fuck about you so long as you move out of their way.
There are levels of concealment, "IWB but sticking out" is obviously visible to everyone but you can plausibly claim you made an attempt to conceal, it's just getting your Costco steaks was more important thing on your mind than keeping track of your shirt. In some situations that level is fine. Just don't do it in the post office under "no guns allowed" sign.

You need to budget $80ish for the holster with shipping, $120 ish for the HP ammo of your choice and then shoot 100-150 rounds of it to make sure your individual pistol functions flawlessly with that hollow point design, and $40-60 for a carry belt like a blue force alpha, hanks, or kore. That leaves you with about $550-600. You should call around different rental ranges in your area and find one that does infinite swaps for a flat $25ish rate and then shoot a couple groups through the pistols in your price range like the Echelon compact, M&P 2.0 compact, ruger RXM, PDP compact, FN 509c ect and see which one YOU actually shoot the best because that's what matters. Glock doesn't really fit your budget as they are about $650 and you need to budget in the other things I mentioned. It's like if you were starting from scratch with your first computer, you would need to budget in the mouse and keyboard. Same is true for a holster, HP ammo, and belt.

the rxm is fine though i would prefer a glawk brand glawk, but it does have a big advantage in the optic mounting system being better than the mos/gen 6 plate system (fags on here will rave about the modular fcu system but its literally pointless unless youre doing it to get around local laws,) from the chatter ive heard the main downgrade those have is the magpul mags so just throw those out/use them for dry fire only and either get glock oem mags or mec gars if the real deal is too expensive. the other failure point is if you really want to mod your gun with comps/trigger jobs/etc. youre probably less likely to run into friction with an actual glock since theyll be designed around that

Fitting a thumb safety is pretty easy. There are a good videos and guides on it. Basically you take the grip safety off, insert the safety and see how much material you need to take off so it fits inbetween the sear and hammer. There’s more to it than that but that’s the basic step and if you want to tweak other things like how positive it clicks on and off you can.

If you meant grip safety, then it’s also easy, you buy the fitting guide. Clamp in the guide and then file away until the tail of your frame matches the guide and then you test fit your new grip safety to the new beavertail radius.

Hammer is a critical part, if there isn’t enough sear engagement it can just pop off Willy nilly. Modern machined parts are very good, people report that hammers tend to not need fitting.

>>65100584
I usually hate clones of stuff but I really like my RXM a ton. Is it as good as a Glock? I think it is better than a Glock gen 3 and about on par with a Glock gen 5. The trigger bow is better than a gen 5 but it feels and breaks about the same, which is good. The slide is cut in a nice way for handling, the optics cut is GREAT as well. The grip is excellent although I swapped mine out for a fullsize almost immediately, and likewise it is also great, easily superior than a stock Glock imo. Where is it less good than a Glock is in the finish, which isn't as durable. Does that matter to me? Not that much, but it may matter to you. I'd say a lot of things about it make it do Glock things better than a Glock, but overall it's about on the same level as a gen 5 Glock which is a glowing endorsement imo since gen 5 is my favorite gen. Havevnt handled a gen 6 to compare it to that yet though. I don't think you'd be screwing yourself by goin with an RXM but remember to toss the Magpul mags it comes with and get real Glock brand Glock mags for it if you do

forgot to mention if youre spending $800 on your whole setup i wouldnt spend much more than $400 on the gun (so youre looking at the rxm or police trade in glocks, smiths, walthers in strikerland or really good deals on a new cz p-10. you could go with caniks or springfields/hs produkts though those have reliability issues. if youre willing to do da/sa you could probably find a 92fs/m9 for that same price too) and would spend most of the remainder on training ammo. a dot would be an appreciable improvement but if the couple hundred bucks is a real big thing being able to get up and running with basic competency before carrying a gun everywhere is priority 1 and a holster is needed for cc but i would buy those together just to make sure you dont waste money on one that doesnt work for your optic. Again if youre chosing a 'one and done' gun i would pick something larger format even if its a cc, if youre a big guy its very possible to carry something glock 17 sized though not the most comfortable but thatll get you the most pleasant experience actually training with it, if youre really worried about printing glock 19 form factor is the smallest i would reccomend for an only gun just since even on more modern smaller formats like the p365 its still rough to train on (my carry gun is a smith csx-e and its very pointable but its harder to find purchase on esp on the flush mags and anything that small is going to have pretty brutal recoil impulse anyway)

They fixed the feed problem in the later guns but everything else persists, and CZ approaches the bushing problem like a Pokemon scalper and only makes a handful of bushings a year. I scored two by complete chance a few weeks back, as I was looking for other parts entirely and stumbled upon them. Euros like myself can also fall back on a tiny German gun shop (Waffen Drost) that makes a beefier custom bushing. I spent a lot of time looking for any bushing at all and luckily found them – have one of their bushings too and it works just as well

First of all buy the jig for the grip safety you want. I highly recommend putting the frame in a vice, so get one and a solid table if you don't have one. You can save a lot of time by grinding off the vast majority of the tangs with a dremel and rotary stone bits but don't go crazy, the vast majority of it needs to be done with a file. I would highly recommend getting several premium sharpies as well as a set of diamond files from harbor freight for $9. Totally strip the frame down and plug the plunger tube up with tape, shavings will get everywhere.

https://youtu.be/ovEjctvxORQ?si=pxZk7f9THjGdnHyu

Basically watch this, watch his technique with the pin gauge set. You can do this job without using pin gauges but it speeds it up immensely. If you don't use pin gauges you can shove a punch slightly smaller than your thumb safety in and pull it hard forward, repeat this about 70 times and eventually it will be close enough to fit your thumb safety in, at which point you are only 50% done.

You don't absolutely need to blend the beavertail, especially if you don't want to refinish it, just the radius of the tangs themselves can be cold blued and oiled and they wont rust

They still have a few models in the V gen, specifically 20, 21, and 22. It's not clear if they are moving to gen 6, but at least they aren't as clearly discontinued as 27, 30, or 34.
>>
>>65101465

v was needed cause they fucked themselves with 5 and its gradual updates. stuff like 5 no front serrations, 5 front serrations, 19 19x. look its a gen 5 glock and it doesnt take gen 5 mags.
they needed a clean slate for standardization which would honestly be better received if called 6 instead of v but whatever.

Honestly, the stippling did not fix my issue. At max speed, my support hand would miss its spot and land too high up and press on the slide stop. This would often engage the slide stop after my first shot. The thing I needed was the stealth lever, I already had them even but just on different guns (I have 7 PX4s, honestly only 1 I shoot regularly (every week)).

Also there is people with USPs in here, why aren’t you giving them crap?

>No image I can find has high enough resolution for a print
You would need the original .pdf of that image. I found the URL where it was, but Ruger deleted it and it's not archived anywhere.

>CCW permit in my state only lets you carry guns of the same caliber or smaller than what you use in the class
So should I borrow my friend's deagle in order to not get a cucked permit? I don't want to be a clown, but I don't want to have to take the class again if I get a .40 or something down the road.

worse trigger than the PX4/92, more expensive, the USP is worse in more metrics than the PX4 so if I'm being attacked for the superiority of the PX4 then why does the USP get a free pass?

True.
I wish there was some Jakob Wilhelm at HK Germany who would listen what people want. Problem is HK Germany always focused only on military or LE contracts and not so much for civilian market.
